This found still life is a shot I took from my balcony where we are staying on the gold coast. I saw a mother and her daughter playing on the tennis court, so wanted to capture what they were doing. I used a short shutter speed to ensure there was no motion blur, and to keep the subject in focus. I had the f stop at f/8.0, mostly as exposure control. I could not seem to get the tennis court aligned perfectly with the shot, so I tried to use the lines in a slightly abstract way.

I was attempting "panning" at really low shutter speed, that's why the background is out of focus as well as the subject.
