This is an equipment I use to test the shutter speed of my cameras.
The blips correspond to when the shutter opens and closes.
F/4.5, Shutter Speed 1/200, ISO 3200.
The overlooked, the under appreciated, the discarded.
My father and I restore cars, we are currently working on 2 1956 Ford Thunderbirds. One of them is still in the process of being fixed while the other is up and running. For this project I wanted to show the transformation between something tossed aside into a beautiful piece of art.
This picture to me really shows the depth of work that must be done to fix the car. It shows the separation of parts and the age in the metal, while still showing life.
Playing around with shutter speeds to capture rain. I'm still not getting all the other elements right to improve lighting at the same time though.
This photo was done with a slow shutter speed and a wide aperture. I had to really turn down the brightness and increase contrast in order to get the light to pop. I chose this photo because of the contrast between the light and dark side of the picture. The construction machinery really adss something to the photo in my opinion
