This bighorn sheep ram had his ewe cornered on the tinest little ledge way up on the side of the rocky hill. She could not go any place until he unblocked her. I have seen them do this several different times during their rut season. (see first photo below for a more full view) I loved the way her eye showed through his horns in this shot! They were really to far out of my 600 lens range but I could not resist.

Every year for the last several I have had two hummingbirds come to my feeders, a male and a female. What happens is the male shows up first and a week or two or three later in comes the female. Then both of them disappear. I finally figured out it was when the Tulip Poplar trees were in full bloom. Their flowers are trumpet shaped and I think the Hummers love them. These trees can grow from 80 to 100 feet tall so there is 0 chance of seeing Hummers up on top of them. But eventually they stop blooming and like magic the hummers are back! I am hoping that eventually they will add to their number with at least one offspring. :)
She's a member of the family now,and Zoey has decided to play Mom to her.
If she does somthing Zoey doesn't like,she will gently pat her until she stops. The rest of the time they sound like two horses galloping through the house playing.
Ninya,on the other hand is being more cautious,she's the ultimate scaredy cat !
She's got me spotted and some other photographers around me...keeping our distance of course. This Grizzly mom's first concern is to protect her young.
....She was the most popular when she plated Poppy three with clothes of MOD.

Barn Owl, Norfolk.
I was treated recently to some close up shots of this barn owl on various posts.
Pulling up in the portable Pug 308 hide, with its rattling diesel engine, this bird not only tolerated my arrival but stayed around for the next 45-50 minutes.
The light was tricky by this time with bright sunshine making it difficult with the exposure, especially when she was looking towards me as one side of her face was in complete shadow and the other in the direct sun. Hopefully I have done enough to rectify both post edit.

Nayla doesn't appear to like me looking at her. She stopped when I walked up yesterday, and mind you, I would have too if the glass was not there. I think she wanted to be at her nice heated spot up front.
Ellen (Strangers 10, Round 3)
Ellen, she showed me her Amnesty International card. "Can I ask you something? I speak to people and tell about the discrimination against homosexuals in countries in Eastern Europe. Do you want to sign a petition? ”. She said that she does this work as a student (she is studying the account manager training) and can thus collect some extra credits in Corona time. I was surprised that by collecting signatures you can also collect credits. It is an alternative to doing an internship. She was not alone, more students were active. I had to sign via her tablet, only that way she got credits. This is the 10th photo from my 3rd round of the 100strangers project.

The entrance portal of the Registan's Sher Dor (Lion) Medressa, opposite the Ulugbek Medressa and finished in 1636, is decorated with roaring felines that look like tigers but are meant to be lions. The lions, the deer they are chasing and the Mongolian-faced, Zorostrian-inspired suns rising from their backs are all unusual, flouting Islamic prohibitions against the depiction of live animals. It took 17 years to build but hasn’t held up as well as the Ulugbek Medressa, built in just three years.
