Virginia suggested the idea that we do a collaborative painting.
But I had a canvas to work up with a color background, and decided to send it to her as a surprise- a first shot across her bow, in the WarPainting.

I should note the what Virginia said to start was, "Can we have a War of Paint.?"
That was April 4, 2012.
- I did the base color on December 20 of 2013. [ i don’t get this. It is more than a year later. Can this be right.? Where did i get the April 4, 2012 date.? The Dec. 20 date is probably right. It’s on this page in the data. I would not have delayed to put this photo in. ]
- the pristine package went off on abut Dec. 28.
- Virginia did the first real painting on the canvas and the package came back on February 25, 2014. [ - another note says it came back on Feb. 14, 2014. (?) ]

- I worked on the painting. ( this is when i did the fish and the man/wolf. ):
- V. sent the photo of her first new work on the painting on August 22, 2014. She has covered the big head.
- i get the painting back and still think the man/wolf doesn't work. I cut it out on Sept.18, 2014.

- i mailed off WRPTing One in the long box for the last time on September 5, 2016 for Virginia to finish it.:

- V. wrote on Ap. 15th and called yesterday ( the 21st ), to tell me that she finished WarPainting One ( adding two figures ) and she is going to show it at the Napoleon Gallery next month and wants me to write about it for her. what fun.
[ - more puzzling dates. Ap. 15 of what year. Yesterday is the 21st.? ]
( - these notes on the dates are made on April 8, 2020, during the STAY HOME months of the Covid 19 crisis. )
( - months or weeks.? probably months. and it’s going to cycle through the Southern Hemisphere and come back again. geez. )

she enjoys road trips too and likes to hang out the window. If I didn't hang on to her she would let herself dangle.. whats great is when we are going really fast you can see the underbite, and I mean it sticks way out!!

We went to photo atelier for one afternoon and had a great time making faces and changing our clothes all the time :-)
I took a few shots of my car after work during the sunset. She was broke for a few weeks. Back up and running.
