Was messing about with the photo editor on my camera phone. Used the stamp/shadow effect. Somehow reminds me old old fanzines from years ago for some reason.

does anyone remember the video? a bit of nostalgia for a Happy Halloween to everyone. A deliciously haunting holiday!
Experiemented with taking photos of my shadow while in midair. Particularly liked this one so flip-reversed it to form some sort of weird tribalesque conjoined twin figure.
Also, I think this picture (the thumbnail at least) looks a bit like one of those psychological ink blot tests - I see a beetle's face or a sort of organic, semi-evolved space invader. You?

I liked this shot instantly because I had focussed on the eye that was further away from the camera which really accentuates the shallow depth of field. I also liked the Costa's bokeh!!

I'd never fancied myself a shadow puppet show designer, but a friend asked me to build one for The Heist Project, so I did.

Shadows creep from under bridges
masking doorways into spring,
paths that lead to nowhere
just circles in a ring,
shadows in the summer
are mere ghosts of yesterday
that linger in my fractured mind
to haunt and cause dismay.

As I wrote in an earlier post, My friend Mads is working on a brand new look for the site, and he is in the last testing phase now, and that might give some down time on the blog.
And some of the links and pages might be missing for a while, but don't worrie it will all be up and running again very soon.
Ohhh and Happy Birthday Flemming.

I'm only gonna tell you two things about this photo.
It's from Bryce Canyon.
It's not My shadow, but some womans.

Thsi would be Shadow and Marie. Shadow is my character from Miracle Court, and Marie is from his past. 'tis a long story there, let's just say he got a little beyond broken over that one...
So for the artistic rant, well I'll say I haven't touched my copic in a while, so I excuse the lamess of the blending and some of the color choices. For example his face is too dark (though that was my own stupidity, I accidently changed marker after taking a sip of my drink and just, was too distracted to notice right away -_-)
I like .... the arm reast and the plant? XD well I do. And his hair. I like drawing male hair for some strange reason.
