This dress has ruching/gathers at the front seam and ends with a split from above the knee to hemline. I serge finished the edges and pressed them to turn under when time to complete the hem.

This was my prototype for a long, stretchy, skinny shirt and it came out ridiculously small. It will fit someone I'm sure, just not the intended me. It has lace borders on the sleeves and the LOW-cute v-neck line which looks GREAT! I wasn't sure if I would like it but I think the créme contrast with the orange looks wonderful. It is stretchy rayon and could be worn as a dress over leggins (or not) for sure. It is a bit see through so I don't know how the tightness of this will work out. Maybe it would be good for a girl worn over a slip. I can't wait to make another one and some in different colors!
