I have to say that I love the weekly Spoonflower challenges so much. They help me try new things and push me in different directions, which expands my skills and repertoire in design. I don’t think it is bad that your designs are not all the exact same style, as how would you grow further if they were. That is the reason I love the challenges, they create growth, weather you are just a beginner or a seasoned designer. And they are not all perfect and it’s fun 😊 I really appreciate you following my journey in this process of growth. This is my entry to this week’s Spoonflower challenge – Otherworldly Botanicals. This fabric I found at the Salvation Army Thrift Store on St. Clair West will be dyed a teal green and be the back of the coat.

Dotted swiss fabric with a lace edging and floral ribbon. The sewing pattern is from 1958. Yasmin was born and has grown up in Kiev, Ukraine, but she is now safe in the country of Georgia. She's here in the U.S. now, visiting her papa and I for the summer :-)
