Which was a “Forces Leave” service principally used by Royal Navy personell who lived on Plymouth , but were attached to Rosyth HM Dockyard , and other nearby Royal Naval establishments . So they could spend part of the weekend “home” in Devon and Cornwall with their families etc .

The coach returned back north around 1700 hrs on the Sunday evening .

Tyrolean Airways

Zürich-Kloten (ZRH/LSZH)

15 February 1981

Austrian regional carrier Tyrolean Airways was founded in 1958 as Aircraft Innsbruck, but eventually transferred into a regional airline, starting scheduled services under the name Tyrolean Airways in April 1980. Initially a pair of DHC-7s were used, later also DHC-8s, Fokker 70s and Fokker 100s were part of the fleet, before the carrier was finally swallowed by Austrian Airlines in 2015.

The two DHC-7s were used on the scheduled services from Innsbruck to Zürich, and the first one delivered, OE-HLS, was seen on finals to runway 14 on such a service, sporting the carrier's initial brown, red and orange livery.

OE-HLS was built in 1980 and delivered to Austria in late March 1980. It was named "Stadt Innsbruck" (City of Innsbruck), after Tyrolean's homebase. By April 1986, OE-HLS was re-registered as OE-LLS, but remained in sevice with Tyrolean Airways until 1995. During this time Tyrolean was the only airline flying Dash 7s into Courchevel alpine airstrip in France, on behalf of french carrier TAT.

In early 1995 the aircraft was leased to Italian company Far Airlines, and eventually sold to them in September that year. It was retired at Guernsey in 1999, and broken up there in early 2001.
