This is a .34 caliber single-action percussion revolver that features a hammer mounted on the right side of the frame. (Single-action means pulling the trigger only fires the weapon, but you have to manually cock the hammer with your thumb first.) It has flared-butt walnut grips, an octagonal 5-inch barrel and a 5-shot cylinder. The unfluted cylinder is engraved with a hunting scene of trees and deer. The cylinder access pin is inserted from the rear of the weapon. The hinged trigger guard acts as the loading leaver, driving the ram rod with a rack and pinion gear. There were two basic types of this gun made between 1858 and 1861; the Early Model of which approximately 100 were made (with a friction catch on the trigger guard loading leaver), and the Standard Model of which approximately 1,000 were manufactured (with a spring-loaded catch on the trigger guard loading leaver). Although not a military weapon, some of these revolvers were carried in the Civil War as a privately purchased side arm.

Originally built for the USAF as a standard C-130B with serial 58-0712. Transferred to NASA at Moffett Field, CA from 1963 until 1967.
Converted in 1968 to a special test and evaluation version known as the NC-130B and operated from Johnson Space Center in Texas as N707NA.
The early seventies saw her become N929NA for earth survey work with NASA.
N707NA last saw service in 2001 after a year with the National Center for Atmospheric Research, Jefferson County in Colorado.
This lady continues in storage near to Davis-Monthan Air Base where she was converted back in 1968.
Ground for the serial data connection can be obtained from pin 7 of U13. If you want to power something, 3.3V is on pin 14 of U13. This is just one place you can put a ground line. A little work with a multimeter will find other points all over the board.

My Mother hates this photo but since she isn't too internet savvy I figure this one is safe from her viewing. I used to bring it up to get on her nerves and it always worked. It's unsettling to see some weirdo have his hands all over your mom. But honestly, it isn't the hands...it's the stare.
British postcard by The Transatlantic-Film Company Ltd. Transatlantic was the European subsidiary of Universal, with its main office in London.
Marie Walcamp (1894–1936) was an American actress of the silent film era, often specializing in roles as an "action heroine" in serials, including Westerns. She had her breakthrough at Universal with the serial The Werewolf. All through the 1910s, she had a prosperous career at Universal in serials and short films, including the very popular serial Liberty (Jacques Jaccard and Henry MacRae, 1917), in which she had the lead. When the serials vogue was over by the early 1920s, so was Walcamp's career. In 1936 she committed suicide.
