Put a couple drops of cleaning solution on the swab. Swab once both ways. Right to left-left to right. Don't be afraid as the sensor has a glass coating for protection -so you don't actually touch the sensor. Sometimes you can get away with just blowing out the dust but in my case I had to use cleaner and a swab
image of the day and hmmm? ... are the red dots blown pixels on the old sensor or just tiny specs of dirt? ... i have tried the onboard cleaning routine and no change?

This was a test to try to remove the UV/IR glass from infront of the foven sensor using conventional glass cutting techniques...the glass shattered and ruined the sensor...
