I finally got the sample copy back from Blurb and I have to say it looks pretty good. I have them up for sale at e50e.etsy.com to charge less for shipping.
This sixty-eight-page photo book focuses on the Kalamazoo region. It showcases the many local spaces I have visited with my camera over the past few years. I have features on bowling alleys, motels, and other unique landmarks in Kalamazoo County.
I used a number of cameras in the creation of this photographic collection including the Holga, Mamiya C220, Yashica Mat, Brownie Hawkeye Flash, Canon Rebel G 35mm SLR, Hasselblad and Diana toy camera. The book includes a camera index in the back to show the reader which camera was used to take each image.
Hardcover and softcover editions are available. The book is 7x7, full color, and printed using the Blurb.com online service. Delivery time is approximately 2-3 weeks.
For residents of Kalamazoo the features include the Douglas Auto Drive-In Theatre, Sunset Lanes Bowling Alley, the Portage Motel and many more!
This is a special book-cover version of my "The Pilot's Dilemma" artwork. I've licenced this version as Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial NoDerivs. But... if you are an author who is self-publishing a suitable novel or scholarly book, then feel free to use it without asking me. It's been cropped from the original and now fits the Lulu 6" x 9" inch (2925px x 1913px) book cover requirements. It has also had the contrast increased slightly. Your book's title and author name are intended to go at the bottom, not the top. Enjoy!
I am also available for paid commissions for similar fantasy/SF book covers.

Bitter Woman is my first book. I hope everyone support me and order my book. Click the link below to read more about my book.
A mother has no greater pain than to watch helplessly as her child breaks down over a man. When Davon and Funise’s promising future and 10 year marriage goes down the drain, it seems life can’t get any worse for her.
Her mother’s sudden passing forces Funise to find the will to go on alone. Compelled to reestablish a shaky relationship with her sister, Mia who has always been jealous of Funise since childhood, major conflicts ensue. Little did she know she might find her salvation in Pastor Jon Adams. A handsome and humble man of God he shepherds the small church Funise’s mother attended. His quiet strength helps Funise to get back on her feet.
Being a spiritual man of few words he sees Funise at her best and worst ultimately finding he has fallen in love with her. After a brutal rape, sibling rivalry and marital conflict Jon will be faced with a challenge that tests both his faith and Funise’s ability to trust again.
As Funise copes with drama provided by her soon to be ex-husband and sister, Mia, she holds to the one thing that was taken from her. One sister’s secret could change their lives, but would it be for the better or worse?

My copy of my new photo book, "My Beautiful Flint", arrived at my building yesterday. It exclusively contains pictures I have taken in my hometown of Flint, Michigan, spanning the twenty-five years between 1986 and 2011.
I wasn't able to get the package from the super until this morning.
I took the box on the train on the way to the Sears Tower this morning, where I was going to my cubicle to put together documentation of why I thought I deserved my job, for my annual performance review. (Having my book with me was a welcome pick-me-up.)
I leafed through the pages on the southbound Red Line train downtown, and I am basically thrilled with the way it turned out.
You can preview my book here: www.blurb.com/books/3100609.
I was hoping my book would arrive prior to my trip back home next weekend - and thankfully, it has!
