Working mock-up, working title for a new book I'm releasing in the next week or so of short stories with very autumnal themes.
And VERY excited when I saw the image recently posted by The Gnarled Branch (www.flickr.com/photos/gnarledbranch/) which I just thought fit the feeling I was going for perfectly! You MUST check out his work of re-directed paintings!
Here I'm testing a mock-up and just love how the cover has sort of an early American romanticism feel to it, like a cover for a book by Washington Irving or Nathaniel Hawthorne, etc. I'm super ecstatic and nervous. Intimidating to see your words in book form...

Foreword by Joe Miranda
Thirty-plus years ago, I created a series of portraits of Lansing, Michigan-area artists. I've had the idea to do this ever since digital publishing became a thing, but I finally, finally got my act together recently to get it done.
Am now publishing my own work as small books, these four are my first and will be given away as presents this week.
This issue from 2005 focused on photos of artwork found on the base panels of street light posts from around the US.
Self-published magazine out of New York appears to be quite rare. I couldn't find a single issue extant through any online bookseller or held by any library via Worldcat
