Twelve photographers present the best-known products representing the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads™ and PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Glass™ product brands.
Under the guidance of Petra Lejsková, a script was created with the goal of presenting successful products or product groups from the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads™ and PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Glass™ brands in the new calendar. The suppressed colour pallet of Marek Kubáček's individual photographs is a unifying element here. The color accents therefore provide sufficient room to emphasise the depicted product. Adéla Anděla Bursová's sensitive styling rounds off each depicted scene. The graphic layout also includes a space for the inclusion of a short piece of product information. Thanks to the choreography of the twelve photographs, you will be able to acquaint yourself with distinctive Czech glass products and their production base in the form of glass sand from Střeleč, but also with the indispensable sense of a purely professional approach to everything which is produced at PRECIOSA ORNELA. You can also detect the hallmark of perfection in the relaxed playfulness of the individual scenes which only a true perfectionist can afford to utilise.

Elizabeth Annie Wildman was born in 1855, the daughter of Rev. Thomas Wildman, domestic chaplain to the Earl of Galloway and incumbent of St Andrew’s Church, Callander, and Sarah Ann (née Bates). On 25 November 1890, she was appointed Lady Superintendent of Queen Alexandra’s Military Nursing Service for India, a post she retired from on 24 November 1913. On 21 July 1908, she was invested by the King at Buckingham Palace with the Royal Red Cross (First Class) medal ‘in recognition of her special devotion and competency in connection with her nursing duties in India’. On the 12 December 1911 she was awarded the Kaisar-i-Hind medal (2nd class) for public service in India. She died on 14 July 1931 at The Old House, Ascott, Whichford, Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire.

Finally normalised and finished the font I started last year, and built various scripted items using them, I instantly saw the need to make a script version, completed this in 2 days thanks to the focussing power of pain and the taming of the b-spline :)

As in Victorian times, the precious, hand-lettered look of custom stationery is back in vogue. Enter Courtesy Script, my newest ornamental script typeface.
Courtesy captures the elegance and propriety of finely practiced Spencerian penmanship, in particular the Zanerian school. Its lowercase is notably understated, a simple monoline with very wide connections that ease readability. In the capitals, Courtesy adds variety in both the weight of the strokes, and in degrees of flourish — from merely fancy to over-the-top engrossery.
Based on an alphabet found in a 19th-century penmanship journal, Ale created hundreds of additional, stylistically complementary letterforms. Alternate capitals and lowercase letters, swashed lowercase forms, and ending and ornamental swashes; numerals, punctuation, and non-English and accented characters.
With virtually endless ways to customize its use, Courtesy helps designers create fluid, signature looks on stationery and invitations, book covers, fashion layouts, and packaging.
