Brisbane Transport, Queensland Australia. Scania L94UB 678-FZR (fleet No G678) heading out of the City and crossing the Victoria Bridge over the Brisbane River, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
Three other buses are following. The "G" in the fleet No indicates the bus belongs to Garden City Depot.
The bus is on Route 111 to 8 Mile Plains Buz Via South Busway.
Route E3 was an early prefixed route, introduced in 1968 when it signified a flat fare route. It ran from Greenford to Chiswick replacing most of route 55 (not related to the current 55), which was withdrawn.
The route is the same today. London United won the route last year and it operates from Stamford Brook Garage. Previously Metroline West ran it from Greenford. Scania Omnicity N230UD, SP151, is seen at Acton Town Station. The allocation on this route was previously used on route 10 and became available when that route converted to New Routemasters.

Sanders Coaches routes 44 and X44 run through North Norfolk into Norwich. Fleet number 114, an East Lancs Omnidekka bodied Scania N94UD that was new to Reading Buses, is seen here beside Sheringham Railway Station. From this point a heritage steam service runs on the North Norfolk Railway.

To promote services 25 & 26 as "Gold Services" First Potteries Volvo/Wright 66843 (MX05CGK) and Scania Omnicity 65027 (YN05HCL) have both received the former PMT red & yellow livery and route branding. Omnicity 65027 is seen passing close to the Deltabus home in glorious late September sunshine.

Stagecoach Barnsley 15414, Scania Omnidekka has recently been transformed into Yorkshire Traction 804 to celebrate 10 years of Stagecoach Barnsley. I must say it looks very nice in this livery.

To mark the closure of the garage the last two vehicles to enter at the end of their day were a retro liveried Dennis Trident and a state of the art Stagecoach Gold Scania Enviro 400.
The new Gold service will be launched in November. These luxury vehicles feature free Wi-Fi, high back leather seats, gangway lights and tinted windows.
Bus travel has come a long in the 90 years since Ribble acquired the premisis.
Eaves Lane bus garage was opened just over 105 years ago in March 1910 by Parsons Motor Services.
Parsons was purchases by the Chorley Auto Company Ltd in 1921.
In 1925 the business was acquired by Ribble Motor Services of Preston.
Over time the garage had several extensions.
Ribble saw many changes of ownership over the years, becoming part of the BET Federation to The National Bus Company and back to private ownership.
Finally in 1989 Ribble became part of the Stagecoach Group. The name Ribble still remained for many years after acqisition. Many local people still refer to the building as the Ribble garage.
Stagecoach recognises the long association with Ribble. The bus on the right was repainted in the original Ribble livery by Stagecoach.
From today the 125 double decker fleet will operate from a new facility at Cowling.

Back in 2004 First PMT were using First Group's corporate style of "Overground" route branding. Route 6 (Kidsgrove - Meir Park) had been the first within The Potteries to receive low floor "Barbie" liveried buses. Nine Scania/Wright were delivered new to PMT in 1998 for this route. SSS815, as it was numbered when new, eventually became 60057 (S815AEH) and is seen here in Charles Street when several stands were resited during maintenance work to Hanley Bus Station. All nine remain with First Potteries though 60056 is currently out of use.
