Nicole and I made this sandbox today. The hardest part was trying to use power tools while the children kept "accidentally" spraying us with the hose. I don't care what they say, it's their first attempt at patricide as far as I'm concerned.
Anyway, we're not actually filling it with sand, because the sand never stays in the box and the children aren't able to build anything with it anyway. Dirt will do just fine. We just need about four more inches of it.

Thanks to the grey clouds and all the moisture, the colors are so vibrant in this shot. I made no attempt to saturate the colors, though I think my white balance setting was on 'sunlight.' K was happy to oblige my request that she show the depth of the standing water.
Size 7. Made from recycled pants. 1 pair of daddy's and 1 pair from when he was littler. Sorry they're so wrinkled, they still need buttons too. They came out super long. I'll put them away for a while and make him some 6's.
This pair is number 15 (I think!) and I have finally done a back pocket that I'm proud of!
MOP buttons on both pairs
our kids just love this sandbox that we built for them in the backyard. i'm awfully proud of it, even more so because they like to play in it.
from a recent backyard barbecue we had at our house with a few friends.
Is there a child anywhere who doesn’t love playing in sand? Here’s a great DIY sandbox that keeps the sand in and the cats out.

Sandbox was installed at the playing area in the square where children can play and encourages creative thinking at the early stage of development. This Asian girl was playing by herself while her mother was talking to a friend.
Apart from Africa, there are many people from Asia as well that have settled in France for generations. Most of the Asians that have been living in France or at least their ancestors were from Indochina during French colonisation.
