"The young sandbox tree is as thorny as the young kapok tree. Its sap is so caustic that local fisherman throw it into the water to poison fish."

Nicole and I made this sandbox today. The hardest part was trying to use power tools while the children kept "accidentally" spraying us with the hose. I don't care what they say, it's their first attempt at patricide as far as I'm concerned.
Anyway, we're not actually filling it with sand, because the sand never stays in the box and the children aren't able to build anything with it anyway. Dirt will do just fine. We just need about four more inches of it.
Got all three skulls tonight for H3's new Mythic Map pack. Getting it on Sandbox was super nerdy, but lots of fun! At a larger size, this photo would make a great desktop!

Thanks to the grey clouds and all the moisture, the colors are so vibrant in this shot. I made no attempt to saturate the colors, though I think my white balance setting was on 'sunlight.' K was happy to oblige my request that she show the depth of the standing water.
Size 7. Made from recycled pants. 1 pair of daddy's and 1 pair from when he was littler. Sorry they're so wrinkled, they still need buttons too. They came out super long. I'll put them away for a while and make him some 6's.
The plastic bubble tent keeps the annoying dust from flying around in the breeze. The entrance is velcro-ed together.
This pair is number 15 (I think!) and I have finally done a back pocket that I'm proud of!
MOP buttons on both pairs
our kids just love this sandbox that we built for them in the backyard. i'm awfully proud of it, even more so because they like to play in it.
from a recent backyard barbecue we had at our house with a few friends.
