First video of 24V modification on Saftey First Ride-On Corvette. 2X12V12AH batteries. Batteries were almost completely drained. The clicking sound being heard is from 2 things; the batteries were a little too weak to fully trigger the 12V20A automotive relays powering the motors, and when the car jerks forward Fyerstar releases the pedal causing the circuit to open. The circuit closes again when she presses harder. This happens over and over again.

More video to come.

My intent regarding the 365 project is to purvey a noteworthy documentation of a faction of my existence.

A casual patron of my photostream might note an established pattern of consistencies-- for instance, one might deduce that I allot an incommensurate measure of my waking hours to waltzing about nude.

And yet, all art entails a degree of deception-- thus, today, I extend to you a glimpse of conversational facial contortion, of an all-too-human veracity (in general parlance: the out-take).

The Illustrious Mr. H--- and I, having embarked upon one of our innumerable energy drink/hashbrown runs, were discussing deep space and the peculiarity of the PBS mini-series when I so gnarled my visage.

Back then, all it took was the "Safety First" sign to keep people from doing something "unwise". And this was during the time when the 4000's used the infamous Harrison "Z" curve -- two tight 90 degree turns that bore warning messages at the end of each curve: "Danger: No clearance for person beyond this sign".

Several conductors and the U-Man on duty have a little chat before continuing their work.

Yeah... maybe shouldn't have jumped. Knee's hurting, but hey, it made a great photo.

Just looks really odd to have a hand truck holder and no hand truck on it. Makes me wonder if they lost it or forgot it somewhere? Seen on Interstate 4 somewhere between Orlando and Tampa.

A railway workshop 'safety first' sign, prepared decades before occupational health and safety was heard of.

This original would now have to be considered historic and/or heritage in its own right! And I like that they had a sense of humour back then. Not much humour now in the age of OH&S.

I noticed this fire extinguisher on the terrace of our holiday bungalow. Don´t know what happens when the protection is removed and the trigger is pulled ...
