Safe I picked up today, literally, ouch. Its a sentry safe but you will not find any videos of this one on youtube being thrown up against a CMU wall. I'd guess its a stout 250 pounds, and the lady who I picked it up from said that it is at least 50 years old. Gotta love craigslist .

Being on the ground is not going to save you from a missile attack. You need to build underground safe rooms. When the rest of your home is destroyed, only the steel underground safe rooms will be left standing. Underground safe rooms have saved the lives of many people in the past.
Somewhere along the rail yards we found a lot full of old rusting trucks and trailers containing various rusted items.
The ladder I had to climb to get to my tent. Many tents were on the roof of the church and was considered safer then sleeping inside the church, in case of another earthquake.
Were a lot of people tripping and falling in before they installed the railing?
