They're the first photos I've shown of a series I've been working on called "Safe place" a series showing individuals in their Safe Place. Being somewhere or with someone. People doing something they're passionate about. Cause Its where they wanna be, where they feel most at home. their Safe place.

The gentleman stops and starts chatting... mainly about his cutie pie in the back, safe, and loving the ride!
On the Continent, the electrical bicycles are very well appreciated by the more mature population.
He pushed off again, his eyes were closed, I noticed he did that a lot, like up-calling the images? LOL

Built in 1905, this courthouse was designed by architect Patrick Henry Weathers, an architect who designed many courthouses around the South. It is a contributing property to the Jackson Uptown Commercial Historic District, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
The county's previous courthouse in Jackson was built in 1871. When that was deemed too old, this courthouse was built beside it, and the two stood together for a few years until the 1871 courthouse was eventually demolished.
Cape Girardeau County has two county seats, the other is the larger town of Cape Girardeau. The county courthouse in that town overlooks the Mississippi River and was built in 1854.

It is by far the coolest museum I've ever been in. Every turn finds something new and delightful, and every room you enter has a completely different setting than the one preceding it. It's very eclectic and downright magical.
If you're wondering, yes, I basically photographed every single thing that caught my eye and posted almost all of them.

The original synagogue, known as the Great Synagogue, was erected at different site in 16th century. An earthquake destroyed the shul, which was rebuilt here and named after Rabbi Yitzak Abuhav. It too was destroyed by an earthquake in 1837, and only its south wall remained. The façade was rebuilt at the end of the 20th century.
