In 2007, Edwards Coaches purchased two relatively rare 11m Duple 300-bodied Leyland Tigers - F62 & 63 SMC - for school contract work.
The pair were from a batch of three new to Jubilee Coaches of Stevenage, who was absorbed by County Bus & Coach as one of the successors to London Country (North East), and then served with South Lancs Travel.
Edwards applied a liberal coat of 'safe' yellow paint to them, as was all the rage with dedicated school contract vehicles at the time. Whilst F63 SMC appears to have been withdrawn around 2014 and was then sold for scrap, F62 SMC became an immobile classroom for Edwards, which extended her life by a further five years.
This shot of F63 SMC was taken in June 2011 as she was emerging from Berw Road in Pontypridd when returning from an afternoon school contract.
The world's a small child in the dark
And my mind's the same place as it's always been
The monsters seem to fade so fast
Upon the waking of another dream
And I feel safe, so safe

Having safely delivered its passengers (including the wife and I) to Waverley, GB Railfreight Class 92, 92023 prepares to run round it stock so it can haul it back to Polmadie depot for servicing.
023 had worked the Carstairs-Edinburgh portion of the Caledonian Sleeper Lowlander (1B26) which had arrived four minutes ahead of its publicised arrival time into Waverley.

From Wikipedia:
The company manufactured and sold bank vaults, cabinets (Safes), and Safe deposit boxs from 1878 - 1929.[1] A majority of the safes sold by Cary had letters painted to the purchaser's request on the upper portion of the safe. Typically common was a customer’s family name or the name of a business. Every Cary safe was built fire and burglar proof. The company also manufactured intricate time locks and combination locks, (standard key) locks, and Prison cells.[2]

I play slo pitch. We're the blue team. This is action from the Championship game of our weekend tournament. We're a bunch of old guys, but, we have fun. And the beer goes down even better when you win. :)
( Left ) The “Levy Safe Co and Locksmiths” on Bethnal Green Road in East London is a clever piece of artwork that brightens up the area and acts as great advertising at the same time. There is an olive tree growing outside and inside a safe that once was a resident of Wembley stadium.
( Middle ) A striking piece of artwork in Brick lane London keeps a watchful eye on your parked vehicle..
( Right ) Located at Princelet Street, Shoreditch, London Borough of Tower Hamlets, East London A fairly simple but effective silhouette of a child on a see saw and a balance bomb.....
