Safed or Tzfas is a city in the Northern District of Israel. Located at an elevation of 900 metres (2,953 ft), Safed is the highest city in the Galilee and in Israel. Since the 16th century, Safed has been considered one of Judaism's Four Holy Cities, since that time, the city has remained a center of Kabbalah, also known as Jewish mysticism.
The Ari Ashkenazi Synagogue, located in Safed, Israel, was built in memory of Rabbi Isaac Luria, (1534 - 1572), who was known as the "Ari".It dates from the late 16th-century, it being constructed several years after the death of Luria, a great kabbalist who arrived in Safed in 1570. The synagogue is known for its colorful and ornate Holy Ark. It may be the oldest synagogue in Israel that is still in use.
Carries house is amazing, a restoration of a dilapidated olive mill. There's still a lot of finishing to do and it will probably take years yet but it is habitable and already the potential is very evident.

with DH's new job, this little one doesn't need to find a new home, so we're going to try the bonding thing some more.
You can still by fireworks in Watsonville, but they just ain't like they used to be. We had lots of fun despite the lack of dangerous explosions.
This picture was taken during our walk along the River Thames in London, not far from the Tower Bridge, in an area where most tourists don’t go.

Zyggy’s head snapped back to Sila as she began to lean around her - not touching her at all, but very present near her, almost guardian like.
A steady stream of soft hissing which, when focused on, might have distinguished itself as a constant stream of run-on sentences began to emanate from her.
"Sila, sila, calm- Blue skies and green meadows, blue skies…Do not fight it- Let them come, as they may, in and out like water in a sieve… What do you see little bird? Breath, you are alright, I am here and I will not leave. I am here, you are safe…"
She shifted, her gaze locked on the trembling, pale, pained little girl as she struggled before her, not daring to touch her. Not once did she pause in her soft chanting reassurances, not once did she try to move her, so consumed was she with the tiny figure curled up before her.
"…Remember what you see, don’t be afraid, you cannot be hurt, you are not alone, you are safe. Safe, little bird. It is not real, not yet, maybe not ever. Safe and warm, here with me...."
