Samen met Zagato (SZ staat dan ook voor Sprint Zagato) werd de sportwagen eind jaren tachtig ontwikkeld om het imago van Alfa een beetje op te krikken. Zeldzaam is de SZ ook zeker. De planning was 1000, maar uiteindelijk werden er 1036 stuks geproduceerd.

Together with Zagato (SZ stands for Sprint Zagato), the sports car was developed at the end of the eighties to boost the image of Alfa a bit. It's also pretty rare. The planning was 1000, but in the end 1036 units were produced.

The sun made photographing this very difficult! I had a quick look at the values of these and found a couple for £77-£79k and one on AutoTrader for a (bargain!) £49k. So quite an expensive piece of exotica to leave in a council car park.
