310068 enters London Euston with a local service on 8th August on 1984. Introduced in 1963, these Derby built AM10s were the mainstay of fast electric services in the Midlands and London lasted just into the new century, the last sets being withdrawn in 2002.
There appears to be a huge number of switch diamonds in this part of the station throat at Euston.
One of the last DB Köfs in freight service can be found in Schorndorf, Germany. They use this little guy to switch cars loaded with appliances in and out of the Bauknecht warehouse because the curve radius is too tight for any three or four axle engine. Here the Köf takes three empties from the warehouse down the spur toward the yard.
Fully Charged Live! returned to the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre at the end of April 2022. Although no buses were on display at the show, the park & ride services provided a real mix of vehicles to enjoy including brand new electric Yutongs for Newport Bus, rare Higer Steeds from Big Lemon, and a number of local independent operators pooling together to provide a link to the main car park in Rushmoor Arena.
Amtrak's Lorton, VA switch crew takes a quick break to pose for the photographer during their afternoon duties building the Auto Train. In 1985, it was apparently no problem for an un-ticketed 12 year old and his grandfather to wander around the Auto Train facility with a camera.

Pour chaque beauté, il y a quelque part un oeil pour la voir.
Pour chaque vérité, il y a quelque part une oreille pour l'entendre.
Pour tout amour il y a un cœur quelque part pour le recevoir.

For every truth there is an ear somewhere to hear it.

Great Lakes Central does not normally run on the weekends, but an extra OSTN was called on this Sunday to pick up a large cut of cars from the CSX interchange at Ann Pere in Howell. Now back in Owosso, the crew switches out the train, blocking it out for the next day's northbound. Leading the train is GLC's newest repaint, SD40-2 #382, followed by veteran GP35 #390 and GP38-2 #396.
