Some kids were outside the neighborhood playing snow. Not often the snow falls in this region, and this kids were fighting the cold winds to experience it.

These clouds are the beginning of a really big storm that rolled into town today in Frederick, Maryland. Beautiful and ominous, I stood there and watched the clouds rolling like waves in the ocean.
The clouds at sunset on the night of the Man burn were a sign of things to come.
The Man burn was nearly canceled for the first time in the history of the event due to an intense wind (dust) storm that swept the playa that evening.
From my seat I see the fields move by,
coulours strong- it's been a long, long time.
It's the first time I see summer on the Westhill.
I lean back and let my eyes just go
floating now where they want to float.
They seem to take to the horizon.
Now I know there is a world beyond
the small place I was coming from.
I feel at home here in the middle of nowhere.
I will never know the names
of these places that I travel through
to reach the coastline-
I've been told I will be there in time.
