I seem to have had a bony obsession going on the Austin trip this time. I didn't notice it at the time.

Master of Arts in STEM education students presented their theses research at the Spring 2018 STEM MA Poster Session in Hagedorn Hall on May 10, 2018.
The National STEM Guitar Project, in partnership with NSF Advanced Technological Education (ATE) Centers with funding provided through a grant from The National Science Foundation (#1304405), hosts innovative Guitar Building Institutes around the United States. The 5-day institutes, combined with additional instructional activities comprising 80 hours, provide faculty training on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) for middle, high school, and post-secondary faculty. The institutes present and teach participants hands-on, applied learning techniques to help engage students and spark excitement for learning STEM subject matter.
Nationwide, there are increasing concerns from businesses about the supply of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics trained workers. Science and math test scores in the U.S. are among the lowest around the world.
The goal and objective of the STEM Guitar Building Institutes is to showcase a new way to present learning for students with applied methods.
A woody plant has wood as its structural tissue. Woody plants are usually trees, shrubs, or lianas. A woody stem is hard textured and also has a secondary xylem. This tree trunk is woody stem due to its texture and age.
Teachers practice cooperative learning and problem solving with as they build robots. Workshop preented in Spotsylvania County by the STEM Education Alliance at the College of William and Mary
DoDEA Pacific high school students from Japan, Korea, Okinawa and Guam competed in the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa March 21. They also had the opportunity to tour the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology and other Okinawa attractions.
Stems. This flower arrangement was given to us by the lovely people upstairs when they decamped for an extended vacation. I expect they'll want the vase back, but I'm enjoying it in the meantime. TMY400, Hasselblad 501C, 16mm extension tube.
This was one tough challenge to exaggerate length and making the shot look good!

and really, it was strong. i peeked in the pot and it was packed with what seemed to be whole stems of mint. good stuff.
The School of Science, Engineering, and Technology at Penn State Harrisburg hosted a STEM Program for high school juniors and seniors.
