It took me a while to set this up. Taped the matchsticks to a box to make them stand and placed a bond paper at the back for the background
A great gathering in Northern Virginia of the DMV crew though this time we had quite a few people make the trek from the wider area. Apparently parties this fun are worth a 4+ hour drive.
It was an interesting night as there were two wedding parties that came to the bar area and a bar mitvah being held in the hotel. I'll say there were quite a few thirteen year-olds that tried to surreptitiously sneak a peek at the group. We certainly weren't hiding!

Die Entwicklung der Reben ist enorm. Am 29.3. waren noch keine Blätter zu sehen. Moscatel Tafeltrauben.
First outing with my new toy (5D Mk II). Went to one of my favorite spots on the coast halfway between Brixham and Kingswear. managed to get there just as this normally grey giant stone structure was turned golden by the last rays of sunlight. It was a truly stunning sight.

A solitary tree stands against the vast whiteness of a snow-covered hillside on Christmas Eve. The soft curves of the untouched snow and the gentle sweep of a single track lead the eye toward the tree, evoking a sense of quiet solitude and timeless stillness. The muted blue tones capture the cold embrace of winter, while the composition invites reflection on the beauty found in simplicity.
The stand was sort of an afterthought. but I'm pleased with how simple and effective it is. It wasn't strictly necessary for taking the photos, but it definitely made things easier. I also like to display my stuff at a couple conventions before dismantling them, so the stand would have been a requirement for that.
Yesterday at first light, colour in the skies above Ben Buckler… A fantastic way to start one of the warmest days in the month of may in the past 30 years!
Too bad it's gone downhill today!

Thanks to Ransom Fern and his "76210 Iron Man Mark 44 Hulkbuster - Alternate Build" project, I bought the 76210 set and I managed to build a splendid Hulkbuster, so I decided to create this MOC as well to create a stand that would give the right prominence to the imposing armour. While designing I also thought it could be a great opportunity to make a perfect Suit-up Gauntry for set 76206 and so with these instructions you can make a stand for set 76210 or Ransom's MOC in the cover photo but at the same time also the Suit-up Gauntry for set 76206. To make this MOC you will need 1415 pieces plus the stickered pieces from the two sets. Free instructions on my IG page

Young Poe finds him self with in the land of dreams but this is not the dream land that his Sweet Lenore. This world some how seems nice and happy and there is music and fun shapes but there is some one crying. Young Poe follows the sounds of the crying till he finds the dream Child Leilani.
"Why you so sad little one," asked Young Poe looking down to the little girl that now was wiping the treas from her face.
"A Mean Man Stole away my little friend and he was so big and scary I could not stop him... " Replied Leilani looking up to Young Poe with her big sad eyes.
"This Man did he have a black cape, blond hair, and have so much evil in him it would send Chills down your Spine?" Asked Young Poe Hoping that maybe This Child would know the way to him.
"He so scary...," Replied Leilani that started crying again.
"Yes he is Scary but if we lay down and give up he only gets stronger, we have to go save our friends now," Stated Young Poe Reaching down to Leilani.
Leilani Looked at the hand for a moment before grabbing it. It was cold and she could feel the boys pulse was very slow, but seeing as she was a Dream Child she had no idea what it could mean.
"I know the way to the land of nightmares but you have to stay by me or I will get scared again," Stated Leilani with a very matter of fact tone her in voice.
"I promise I will stay at your side there is nothing to be afraid of any more," Replied Young Poe who all so could well a since of cold coming from with in him.
