Linhof view camera, petzval lens 200 mm, f3,6. The light meter gave me something between 1/125 and 1/250. I’ve took off and suddenly put back the cap of the lens. Probably 1/60, I don’t know.
Developed Rodinal 1:100, stand, 1h and 30’ (however in a very cold room: 13°C). Stop with current water and fixed in alkaline bath.
Scanned in epson perfaction V750 pro and reversed
I took this while I was waiting for a group in front of the tree to clear out so I could get an unobstructed shot. Of course the security guards ended up in that one too. I was using my 17-40mm lens so I had to crop a lot to get this, I might try and go back with a bit more zoom and see if I can get something similar. The castle was covered with a bunch of scaffolding to support a filming of the tv show "The View" so anything much closer than this didn't look very good.

The wave action Sunday morning was pretty wild. I have never seen waves that high in South Florida*. But even so many waves didn't make it anywhere near where we and our tripods were. So slowly we moved close to the waters edge... and closer... just to have to grab our tripods and make a run for it when I wave came up higher than expected. We were laughing so hard. One time we ran and thought we were save just to look down and see the water touching our shoes.

*I didn't make it anywhere during Hurricane Sandy back in October. From pictures I know the waves were even higher then, actually came over the pier.
