Newer DC Collection: #4

I like how he's turned out, I really think LEGO should make more characters in their DC line, not just different versions of Batman.

I actually remembered from where the decals came from, Credit goes to Legocustoms58

Hope you like, Please let me know what you think.

Taken at the ACMA dance concert last weekend. ACMA is a magnet school for the arts, and the dancers were amazing.

The covenant equivalent of a Warthog, the Spectre is not the most well known covenant vehicle, although it is pretty awesome. Sorry it took so long to finish it. My bricklink order didn't come for another two weeks. By the way, I'm still going to try to keep building while I'm organizing my Legos, because I now see that this is going to take a long time, and I don't want to not build for the next six months. Anyways, in the meantime I hope you like this creation.

A panorama view from Engelberg, Switzerland. In the centre you can just pick out the rainbow around my shadow. The place is stunning when the clouds lie low like this. Press "L" to really appreciate the view

I was fortunate enough to be invited to participate in a starfighter telephone game run by some awesome builders. Big thanks to them!

This is the 7th and penultimate build in the series. This round had an added twist of keeping to a consistent color scheme as well as the usual challenge of taking inspiration from the shape of the previous. Other builders tagged below:

1. Evader

2.Lightning

3.Perseus

4. Sailer

5. Void Skipper

6. Boar

7. Spectre

8. Beyonder

Joel built the previous starfighter which gave me a square base to work from. I added some extra bits to extend it into a sort of stealth bomber inspired flying wing.

I had jigged the dial onto bulb setting by mistake, so this shot on the tube came out badly overexposed. Ostensibly a fail. But I liked the unintended movement in part of the shot and slid it a bit

FR : Fabuleuse scène quelque minutes après la photo précédente, lorsque les rayons du soleil traversent la brume, nous offre pour notre première fois ce mythique et magnifique spectre de Brocken.

ENG : Wonderful scene some minutes after the previous photograph, when the sunbeams pass thru the sea fog, giving to our eyes for the first time this mythic and beautiful Brocken spectre.

You came in and went out, come in and go out. You,

just like my inner silent shout, my freedom's hungry

mouth. You, it's you, the spectre within my rabid sea.

You, just you, the reason white, my sail when I bleed.

I love the United Bricks Modern US Infantry legs so much.

I know I haven't been churning out a lot of mocs lately, but that's because I was vacationing in Maine, and I had a great time. Also, don't expect too many new mocs for a while besides this one, because I'm going to start organizing my Lego pieces, which could take a while. So anyway, here's a partially completed Spectre, that I can finish as soon as my Bricklink orders arrive.

Woke up this morning at 6am after a bitterly cold night camped on the Glyders at Llyn Caseg Ffraith in time for sunrise at 7, but opened the ice-covered tent to thick cloud. Since the only way to stay warm was tucked up in the sleeping bag I decided to grab another 30mins kip, only to wake up at 9am. But at least the cloud had to started to shift by then, and I caught this image of my shadow and a brocken spectre as I looked across Cwm Tryfan before the next lot of cloud rolled in shortly after. I decided to cut my losses there since the best of the morning light had already passed and headed off for a good breakfast at the Moel Siabod Cafe.
