So my brother and I were experimenting with exposure times/iso/aperture as we waited for the sun to rise. We had decided to go with a long exposure to see what the photo would look like and a couple seconds after I had started our shot, a hiker with their flashlight had started to make their way along the path and around the corner. Thus we got this pretty cool looking shot of a person's path by pure coincidence. I think it's kind of fun and hilarious.
In a world washed pure white, Jho becomes the color. The space—minimal, endless, undefined—echoes a truth: there is no single favorite place, only infinite moments that belong to them. Dressed in a sharp double-breasted suit, Jho redefines elegance with an edge. The wide hat, trimmed in delicate lace, blurs the line between mystery and art. Red gloves shimmer like molten glass—fearless, deliberate, and unmistakably signature.
Because Jho is never just makeup, never just drag. Jho is a language, a statement, a pulse that beats between couture and character. Every piece tells a story of self-expression unbound by rules, where masculinity and femininity dissolve into pure presence.
In this immaculate white world, Jho doesn’t seek to stand out—they simply are. A silhouette carved from shadow and light, reminding us that true style isn’t about belonging anywhere, but about bringing yourself everywhere.

The town of Spectre exists on Jackson Lake in Millbrook, Alabama. This is where the movie Big Fish was filmed. The movie set was left to be reclaimed by the elements and as one of those types of places, people like to leave something of themselves behind from fake flowers to initials.
The Brocken spectre is a rare phenomenon of its own shade on the cloud below, to be observed eg from an airplane or in the mountains.Drops of water creates a rainbow glory. As a result, we can see our shadow on the cloud, surrounded by a halo.

My favorite place has always been the twilight , that fleeting hour when the sun says goodbye but the sky refuses to let it go. I like to believe I live in that fire, in that endless glow between light and shadow. That’s where I find my truth.
My dress a fusion of silk and skin doesn’t cover me, it reveals me. It mimics nakedness because I have nothing to hide. The flames around me don’t consume me, they cleanse me. In them, I burn away everything the world once told me to be.
I don’t follow fashion, I breathe it, reshape it, make it my own. I am Jovita Vogue daughter of the sunset, lover of fire, and forever reborn in its infinite light.

An effect created by sunlight casting the viewers shadow on a bank of mist or fog. Taken from Over Owler Tor looking towards Hathersage.
I went out early this morning hoping to photograph a temperature inversion, but as the sun appeared I witnessed something much more interesting; a Brocken Spectre. Now if you spend lots of time in mountains (especially early mornings) you probably think they are commonplace but I think this is only the third time I have seen this meteorological phenomenon. It occurs when the sun casts your own shadow onto mist that is below you and creates a magnified human form in the mist. If you are really lucky your spectre will be surrounded by a halo of rainbow coloured rings, also known as a "glory" and you can see that here. The Brocken Spectre also goes by the names Anticorona, Brocken Bow and Mountain Spectre and was first described in 1780 by Johann Silberschlag from a peak in Germany's Harz Mountains called Brocken. According to Wikipedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brocken_spectre there are numerous mentions of it in literature, including by Coleridge, Dickens and Lewis Carroll. Here is an extract from Coleridge's poem "Constancy to an Ideal Object":
At wintry dawn, where o'er the sheep-track's maze
The viewless snow-mist weaves a glist'ning haze,
Sees full before him, gliding without tread,
An image with a glory round its head;
The enamoured rustic worships its fair hues,
Nor knows he makes the shadow he pursues!
I photographed this Brocken Spectre this morning near Holme Moss in the Peak District. It seems others also witnessed Brocken Spectres in the Peak District on the same day: www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-derbyshire-59741101

A sunset panorama captured a couple of weeks ago on the summit of Binsey, complete with Brocken Spectre. Not long before this image was taken, the summit was completely shrouded in hill fog. However, as the sun disappeared over the distant horizon the mist suddenly cleared revealing this tremendous view towards the northern hills of the Lake District.
As it was so unexpected, it was a quick dash to get my equipment set up in time to capture this view, including the Brocken Spectre. This phenomenon is where the shadow of an observer is magnified and cast upon clouds opposite the Sun's direction. In about 20 or so years of fell-walking I've only encountered a handful of these, so to be able to capture one here when I had my full equipment and with such a great vantage point was truly amazing.
I wanted to showcase the whole vista, so captured numerous images to form a panoramic picture. Naturally, I captured my first image with the cairn and Brocken Spectre as I knew it wouldn't last long. In fact, by the time I captured my last image towards Skiddaw to the right only a few seconds later the Spectre had completely vanished.
