Silk Spectre from The Watchmen made an appearance at Wonder Con and was kind enough to pose for me.

At Waveland Shrine, Lexington, KY.
First successful roll through a Kiev 4b Soviet rangefinder (ca. 1967) after making a DIY film spool. I can't tell if the camera has a light leak, or the expired Kodak Vision 250D film is flaring. Overall happy with the images out of this camera, but not sure yet if this Jupiter 8 lens is as sharp as my Industar 61 on my Fed 3b.
“You smell of bleach,” said Sprite.
“Yeah I had a good clean up of my house this weekend,” replied Spectre.
“Oh right,” said Sprite. “You know what they say about a clean and tidy home!”
“Yeah,” said Spectre, “the Wi-fi is broken…”

The latest offering from the R&D sheds of B.A.S.T.A.R.D behind dry dock 4. An ultra high speed, high altitude attack or reconnaisance prototype namd "Spectre"
Inspired by Tromas's recent WIP, in turn based on the Macross VF fighters.

A brief moment of ineptitude when I dropped my camera mid photo, and this was the result. Just a hint of whats really there.

The dress is made out of a straw.
The hair is made out of Sculpy.
The skull necklace is supposed to look like a mini Lego skull, which i hope I achieved.

Seen it once before, but first time I've captured it.
Perfect conditions for the Brocken Spectre.....
Brocken Spectre on Crinkle Crags, on the 30th of December 2008. I'd never seen one of these before, and this was the second one spotted in the space of half an hour!
Originally, Spectre was a Factory drone tasked with protecting the Hero Factory machines. It accidentally got caught in the core implant machine, and it forced a Hero core onto it's chest. The core gave it sentience, and it liked it. The drone is not as capable as a Hero, so the Factory officials wanted to remove the core from the drone, deeming it as a waste. Spectre didn't want to lose it's new sense of life, so it defected from the factory. Now it likes to call itself a him.
