Brocken Spectre on Crinkle Crags, on the 30th of December 2008. I'd never seen one of these before, and this was the second one spotted in the space of half an hour!
Originally, Spectre was a Factory drone tasked with protecting the Hero Factory machines. It accidentally got caught in the core implant machine, and it forced a Hero core onto it's chest. The core gave it sentience, and it liked it. The drone is not as capable as a Hero, so the Factory officials wanted to remove the core from the drone, deeming it as a waste. Spectre didn't want to lose it's new sense of life, so it defected from the factory. Now it likes to call itself a him.

I took several of Sherri's graduate student classmates (my buddy and I use to refer to ourselves as "gradual students" to poke fun at the pomposity of the Ivy League mentality...no one there laughed...hmmm) on a hike up to Gastineau Peak. It's odd, but there were two shots on this roll that came out with this blurred result...the holga plays by it's own rules...

After a morning of snorkeling and a quick stop at the island boutiques, Angel returned to her yacht, The Dragon’s Revenge, in a new linen dress and sun hat. As the sun sets, she sips a Cosmo on deck, enjoying the calm before the party begins.

"007 Spectre" is inspired by the dress worn by Léa Seydoux, French actress and model who plays Madeleine Swann, mysterious doctor met at a clinic in the Austrian Alps.
The dress shows a soft neckline on the back, making it alluring.
The drop earrings and jeweled sandals, for Slink High Feet, are a perfect match, embellishing the outfit.
The mesh dress is available in 5 sizes and is compatible with mesh bodies of Slink, Belleza and Maitreya.
The outfit is available in 13 colors.

Another slow shutter pan of a recent beautiful sunset. Most people do these pans horizontally. I'm not most people… he he ;) Love how this turned out, with a real painterly feel to it.

The picture shows the "spectre tile" discovered only in May by David Smith, Joseph Samuel Myers, Craig S. Both Humans and other humanoids have the capacity to pilot the Spectre. This can be viewed as both a blessing and a curse, as the Spectre is actually quite easily hijacked or stolen.
A phenomenon known as a Brocken Spectre.
Shot on the side of Mount Taranaki. The sun was directly behind me and cast my shadow onto the mist on the other side of the valley.
More info below from Wikipedia.
The "spectre" appears when the sun shines from behind the observer, who is looking down from a ridge or peak into mist or fog. The light projects their shadow through the mist, often in a triangular shape due to perspective.[1] The apparent magnification of size of the shadow is an optical illusion that occurs when the observer judges his or her shadow on relatively nearby clouds to be at the same distance as faraway land objects seen through gaps in the clouds, or when there are no reference points by which to judge its size. The shadow also falls on water droplets of varying distances from the eye, confusing depth perception. The ghost can appear to move (sometimes suddenly) because of the movement of the cloud layer and variations in density within the cloud.
The head of the figure is often surrounded by the glowing halo-like rings of a glory, rings of coloured light that appear directly opposite the sun when sunlight is reflected by a cloud of uniformly-sized water droplets. The effect is caused by the refraction of visible light.
