A Brocken spectre also called Brocken bow, mountain spectre, or spectre of the Brocken is the magnified (and apparently enormous) shadow of an observer cast in mid air upon any type of cloud opposite a strong light source. The figure's head can be surrounded by a bright area called Heiligenschein , or halo-like rings of rainbow-coloured light forming a glory, which appear opposite the Sun's direction when uniformly sized water droplets in clouds refract and backscatter sunlight.

Dancers for the Metropolitan Ballet rehearse for an August 7-8, 2009 production: "Ballets Russes 100 Year Festival," a tribute to the legendary Parisian troupe directed by Serge Diaghilev 100 years ago. The festival will take place at O’Shaughnessy Auditorium on the College of St. Catherine Campus in St. Paul, Minnesota. Nina Novak, featured in the movie Ballets Russes, is scheduled to host the two-day affair. Music will be done by the Kenwood Symphony Orchestra, with Yuri Ivan conducting. The works to be performed include include "Les Sylphides," "Le Spectre de la Rose," "Blue Bird," "The Fairy Doll," "The Dying Swan," "Polovtsian Dances" and one contemporary piece, Vaslav Nijinsky’s "Last Dance." The Metropolitan Ballet, based in the Twin Cities, was founded in 2002 by Erik Sanborn and includes members of the Metropolitan Ballet Academy. The ballet masters for the company are Tatiana Berenova (former prima ballerina at the National Academic Bolshoi Ballet Theatre of The Republic of Belarus and the Moscow Renaissance Ballet) and Venezuelan-born Ramon Thielen (a principal dancer at The Dance Theater of Harlem).

So I just saw Spectre so was it the best Bond movie? Was it the worst Bond movie? Let's find out!

Good: The first thing is that I love Daniel Craig as 007, he's so rough but smooth at the same time. Another thing that I liked about this movie was the villain, though I do think we didn't see enough of him, when he was there, he was great! I loved the action in this movie, though there was some shaky-cam here and there, but it didn't bother me that much. The last thing that I liked a lot was the vast settings in the movie. You went from all these different locations and it was really sweet!

Bad: Now I only have a few gripes with this movie. First is like I said before, I feel like the villains were underused, especially Dave Bautista's character, spoiler alert, he only says one word in the entire movie! Another thing is that unlike most Bond movies, there weren't that many cool gadgets, and those are always my favorite parts of the movies! My last thing is that I was a little confused with the story at times because the pacing of the movie was sortta uneven.

Overall, I did like this movie. Is it the best Bond movie? No. But it's still really fun to watch, so I'm going to give Spectre a 7.75/10. So have any of you guys seen Spectre? Let me know what you guys thought in the comments below and I'm seeing a lot of movies this month like The Night Before, The Good Dinosaur, Creed, and maybe Legend and the Peanuts movie, so look forward to more movie reviews!

Day 202 - Tue, July 21

I yelled at a kid today, with cause... then felt really bad. I'm really a very mushy person... I'm easy going, but I am known to sometimes go latin on people. I'll get her some chocolate tomorrow.
