Saw this beauty yesterday while out and about along a trail :) Seeing any owl in the wild is alway a special moment for me!
An Autumn card. These colors are true to life when the vineyards change color here in France. I punched out some squares from two projects that didn't come out how I had envisioned them to make something else.

Despite the brief and unforgivably grainy nature of this little video I'm sure that certain people will recognise this rather distinctive of boxes, as it flashes across the screen, and hence be able to surmise with accuracy it's contents. (though only guess at the colour there-of)
However for those who don't find the box familiar, or were distracted by my outfit and have a need to know, the identity of it's contents is revealed further along in my photo-stream.

A cab in New York City is not really anything special. Well unless you are a guy from a small village with no more than 6000 people living there.
Then a cab from New York is Whohoooo. Hey I´ve seen these on TV! This one was taking a quick turn just in front of me. I raised my X-Pro1 equipped with the XF35 1.4.
At that time I was running FW Version god knows what and the AF was just slow. Somehow though it managed to get this one shot right and here we are taking a look at it on flickr.
Give me your thoughts on it if you wish.

Supposedly somebody chopped the top entirely off of a '53 hardtop. There is no folded top.

Another special livery ticked off the list, and this once again coming from Icelandair who have in 2017 celebrated 80 years since it began operations as Flugfélag Akureyrar with flights commencing a year later in 1938.
To celebrate 80 years since Icelandair commenced operations, the airline repainted yet another Boeing 757 into special colours... This time, rather than the Hekla Aurora that was introduced back in late 2014; Europe's largest glacier, Vatnajökull gets the special treatment.
The livery was officially introduced in May 2017 to celebrate Icelandair's 80th anniversary, TF-FIR which was originally named after the Askja volcano was renamed after the glacier in which is adorned on the special livery.
Indeed, Icelandair can be regarded as having some of the most striking and if not the most beautiful special liveries in the world, although can be difficult to find as there are just 2 out of 28 Boeing 757's in service to feature the colour schemes.
Currently, Icelandair operates 28 Boeing 757's, which includes 25 Boeing 757-200's (one on lease to TACV Cabo Verde), 2 Boeing 757-200PF's and one Boeing 757-300.
Foxtrot India Romeo is one of 27 Boeing 757-200's in service with Icelandair, delivered new to Spanish flag-carrier, Iberia in July 1994 as EC-608 and later EC-FYJ until July 2002 when Icelandair acquired airframe initially on lease from Itochu (now fully owned by Icelandair) and leased to Aeromar Airlines and Avianca in 2002 and 2003 respectively. Initially named after the Askja volcano, she was renamed and repainted into Vatnajökull colours in May 2017. She is powered by 2 Rolls-Royce RB211-535E4 engines.
