Cousins Cody and Lucy take in the wonders of underwater life together at the Maui Ocean Center. Two of my grandkids, they live 1000 miles apart and had never met, but they bonded instantly as if they had been always been best buddies, and were inseparable the week they were together.

On October 8th 1972, the WM ran this passenger special from Hagerstown to Elkins behind three GP9s. Here is the train at the station in Elkins WV. No photographer listed, JL Sessa collection.
Fim de semana retrasado estive em São Paulo e como sempre marquei um encontrinho com o pessoal de lá! Foi super divertido e dessa vez pude conhecer duas pessoas que estava suuuuper ansiosa para conhecer, a Livia e a Nat <3 E por coincidência ambas me deram um presentinho e eu fiquei super boba e feliz e super sem graça porque n levei nada pra ninguém skdjgskdhg Desculpa gente ÇWÇ Mas enfim <3 A Nat me deu dois pares de olhinhos feitos por ela, um vestidinho LINDO e uns sapatinhos customizados por ela, os quais sempre sonhei em ter um!! I could go on for ages posting images of steam trains, but this will be the last one for a while. I really enjoyed my time at the Bluebell Railway and I'm sure it won't be long before I'm there again.
With the entire abbreviated consists in frame, the UP "Big Boy" 4014 creeps across KCT High Line Track 75 above BN Interlocking after departing Kansas City's Union Station, bound for Salina, KS on today's leg of the trip. They're operating as UP train PKCDV-17 today.
This is part of the "Heartland of America Tour" through 10 states spanning an 8 week period, departing Cheyenne, WY in late August and arriving home in late October. 10/17/24.

A fabulous bird's next in the woods along Paradise Pond. Made with the usual twigs and mud. And, in this case, with plastic shopping bags and "special price" tags. I don't know enough about birds to know which one might have been so artistic. Any help with the ID of whose home this might be would be appreciated! :)
CSX F3A 116 pushes MARC train P900, a Washington to Baltimore baseball special to bring Northern Virginia fans of the Orioles to a game at Camden Yards through Jessup on the B&O. Catching an ABA set of F-units in the 1990's was pretty common in the area, but it soon went away.
The 116 was built for the Clinchfield as F3A 800 and was later rebuilt as a F7, powering many passenger specials for Family Lines, Seaboard System, CSX, MARC, Potomac Eagle and many others along the way. The 116 even attended the Streamliner at Spencer Foamathon in 2014, posing as a C&O motor.
In 2017, CSX returned the 800 to its previous Clinchfield glory and it led the 75th Anniversary Edition of the Santa Train over its former home trackage. And I was there.
The Orioles lost to Kansas City 9-2.
