I rented a 16-35L f/2.8 and tested it in the darkness of Spaceship Earth at Epcot. Some panning required, but pleased overall. I'd love to see this lens mounted to a 5DmarkII for the higer ISO and wider FOV.

Yeah, those duplo spaceships are quite popular in my home these days. Although this is not at my house....anywhere my boys can acess these building blocks, a new spaceship of some sort is built!

No, just kidding. This is no spaceship but I could easily imagine it was one. Not getting what it is? Just turn it by 90 degree :-)

Giant Spaceship

The X-2 Deep Space Shuttle is not the only spaceship in this view of Mission: SPACE. Nor are the two planets, Jupiter and Neptune, the only spheres. Spaceship Earth in the background qualifies as both a spaceship and a sphere.

Despite my meager collection at the moment, I had a spark of creativity and made this spaceship cockpit. I've made a little bit of progress, and I think I'm going in the right direction with it.

Spaceship Earth is really an amazing thing to photograph. I don't see how one could take a bad picture of it.

My first time seeing Spaceship Earth, I was blown away. The size of this huge sphere; the complexity. AND there's an attraction inside? I wanted to try and take photos of Spaceship Earth from every angle possible to see if I could somehow capture its grandness. I found this angle a very interesting perspective.

First off, it's been way too long since I've posted a picture of Spaceship Earth, so I figured I'd remedy that. Also, I really like this shot. I meant to come back later and shoot it with a longer exposure to get softer water, but looking back, I'm satisfied with this shot very much.
