I once started a small building event in a community outside Flickr. The task: micro spaceships containing the astromech droid body piece. Check the Gallery on your right to see what we came up with! ----->

1/2 the size of the originals. A little preview of something much larger on the horizon.

I'm always unsure about getting low to the ground because after I take my face away from the viewfinder there's usually a family looking at you like "What the heck is this guy doing?!"

But it's nice to hide from them when looking through the viewfinder and going into your own little world and not having a single worry.

Thanks for looking!

Multipurpose Fighter - One Pilot, Orange Squadron

I wanted something in near future Spaceship style, with wedges, corners and a military jet like style. I also got a lil influenced by SW designs, but i tried to really come up with something "new".

I didnt want it too big, so the area of possible impact is small - thats why i left wings out and made it compact. It has four guns, 2 large ones in front and 2 smaller ones on the sides to have a crossfire like field. The side Jet Engines and engine covers are movable, to allow a different air flow for different speeds - still, everything stays close to the main body so nothing can get "shot" away.

The cockpit is also movable for the pilot to fit in.

Enjoy my first ever finished Space Creation ;-)

Oops! I accidentally built a giant, 1 metre long, LEGO Spaceship;

and you can see all of it here

Benny spaceship made for the display "Space Panic" at the french convention Brick à Dole 2017.

Benny was saying spaceship, spaceship, spaceship... it was time to build him a. A cool and fast spaceship that can raid Kessel in 11 parsecs. ^^

Rear view of the spaceship and its hold.

This spaceship is a reinterpretation of the famous Lego set "Galaxy Explorer" n°928 #Nostalgie

It was made entirely in SNOT in the spirit of "Neo Classic Space"

As in the original version, I kept the cargo hold at the rear of the ship. The ship opens in 2 and cargo can be loaded.

At the entrance to Epcot in WDW. Everywhere I look I'm reminded of happy times here when my children were growing up. Maybe that's why they call it the happiest place on earth.

Spaceship Earth: the icon of EPCOT. Beautiful in its simplicity, I felt like keeping it simple was the way to go.

A great view at the end of a fantastic day! I know that I had promised "One Last Shot" on the way out, but this is one of about two dozen more "One Last Shots". I just can't help myself though! There are too many great photo ops in this park!

guess the spaceship

D is for... dark orange?

This spaceship is based on the alphabet starfighter project that my son and I began last year.

Some of these ships are based on past Lego themes, others are designed around a play feature, for letter "D" I wanted to use the Lego color dark orange. The complement color I like best for dark orange is medium azure. Using these two colors as staring points, I gathered what limited elements I had. The design of the ship was largely based on what cool elements I had in those colors. Because there weren’t any real play features, I included some homing missiles that Elliot could use to "pew" the enemies.

Backstory:

One cold weekend afternoon, I was looking for something to do with my four year old in the house. We went to our Lego room, "What do you want to build?", "A spaceship," Star Wars obsessive Elliot answered, "an E-Wing!" I knew that the Lego fan site From Bricks to Bothans held a letter based starfighter contest years before, but I was willing to give it our own try.

During the build I developed our own set of self imposed RULES:

1. The ship has to be in the shape of the letter

2. It must be strong enough for a four year old to play with it without breaking

3. The primary color and cockpit location are chosen by Elliot

4. Any piece Elliot finds (that matches the color scheme) MUST be incorporated into the build

5. What Elliot says, goes. So if he wants a play feature or design element, I had find a way to make it happen

As the project progressed the builds became more and more complex and the rules became more flexible. We finished the letters of Elliot's first and middle names and now we are working our way through the remaining letters.

When my dad was building his Shiptember spaceship, I was hanging out with him in his LEGO room and built this entire space faction. I built a Spaceship, a fleet of 5 smaller ships, a Mech Suit and a Space Base.

Spaceship Earth

After hours at my #1 must-do attraction at EPCOT, Spaceship Earth. People often talk about the amazement and wonder they experience when visiting various attractions at WDW. When I first rode this attraction in 1991 it set forth a lifelong passion for communications and technology and their promise for tomorrow.

Another roundup of my son's spaceship builds. I get these printed as posters and he hangs them in his room.

Return to Epcot!

I have seen many shots from this angle before so i thought it was my turn.

Im not completely pleased but this is a sign for me to improve and to show it in the future!

Spaceship

I've been running on these old emotions

I know you're looking for something and

I don't wanna stop you

Tryna' fix that pile of things that's broken

Our bedroom is on fire now

And you don't even notice

Where do you go when you're right next to me?

'Cause' you're next to me

But it's so lonely

I'm feeling so numb

'Cause this shit gets to me now

You've been on your spaceship

Working on your mindset

I've been down here waiting for you

You've been falling into pieces

I've been tryna' save

But I'm running out of ways to love you

Where do you go when you're right next to me?

'Cause you're next to me

But it's so lonely now

You've been on your spaceship

Working on your mind set

I've been down here waiting for you

Missing all our stupid conversations

Sitting on the kitchen…

Here's yet another shot of Spaceship Earth, this time with some topiaries in the foreground to spice things up. On previous trips I always had tons of shots leading up to Spaceship Earth. This time, staying at the Dolphin, and entering at the back of the park, I almost didn't even think to go to the very front for some shots. I did get a couple (though not nearly as many as I would have had we had to exit at the front) and this was one of my favorites from that set. I hope you like!

Armored transport spaceship

This is a Blacktron II shuttle for short range missions, mainly "collecting" and transpoting stuff.

Central section is cockpit and cress area. side sections are cargo bays. Thre are sliding doors to corridors leading to cargo bays, rear crew door and extendable ramps to each entrance.

Ship is armed with 3 heavy lasers and 4 light lasers on each wing and with quad canon on the roof.

Dimensions: 35s x 60s x 12b

Ship is related to my Piranha MOC and shape is heavily inspired by automated drones from pc game FTL.
