A pair of Southern Pacific SD35's #3107 and #3106 haul a transfer cut for the Santa Fe out of the W. Colton yard in January of 1982. In the background are two trains waiting to depart Eastbound. One with a quartet of U33C's and the other with SD44 #7399 in the "Daylight" inspired paint scheme" on the point!

NS 1137 met de 1213 in opzending staat met trein D-297 van Amsterdam naar Maastricht vertrek gereed in het centraal station van Utrecht. In Maastricht zal een Locomotief van de Belgisch spoorwegen de trein overnemen en haar naar Luxemburg brengen, alwaar de SNCF de trein overneemt en naar het Zwitserse bazel zal brengen. De uiteindelijke eindbestemming van de trein is het Italiaanse Pisa.

NS 1137 with the 1213 in dispatch, with train D-297 from Amsterdam to Maastricht, departure is ready at Utrecht central station. In Maastricht, a locomotive of the Belgian railways will take over the train and take it to Luxembourg, where the SNCF will take over the train and bring it to the swiss basel. The final destination of the train is Pisa, Italy.

Nu de dagen van de treinstellen type Icm (koploper) geteld zijn is het een mooi moment terug te kijken in welke uitvoeringen dit treinsteltype gehad heeft. Deze collage geeft een overzicht van vele van deze uitvoering, maar zeker niet alle uitvoeringen.
ICM 4002 en 4004 als intercity van Amsterdam naar Nijmegen komt het station Utrecht CS binnen gereden.

it definitely looks like its snowing over here in ash-y southern california. if you step outside, it looks like a sunset and little ash flakes are falling all over the place. i woke up in the middle of the night freaked out because my room smelt like smoke. i think i have a sensitive nose because in order for me to get back to sleep, i had to cover my mouth in my sheets like a gas mask. haha.
the sheet around me is my filter for air. hehe
i feel terrible for all the families who have lost their home. i was worried i'd be evacuated, but thankfully it went east. sorry eastern side!
after Union Pacific took over SP and CNW they found themselves power short. Some odd leasers on the UP were Amtrak F40PH's. Here a pair trail a SP SD40T-2 at Valley Jct in East St Louis, IL
(Enter air) - Boeing 737-8 MAX fresh out of the paint shop, backtracking for departure this cold & frosty morning, just after sunrise.
This Formica sp. is the only ant that I've found still enough to do some stacking. And it went quite well, although it was pretty late in the morning and I've shaded it with my body.
3 and a half years have passed and I haven't had any luck since... :(
