Somehow the BN pair has stayed together out of Lincoln for quite some time. Last night, they were the power for the 627 local which shuttles cars from Lincoln to Aurora and back.
We started the chase at Emerald.
Somehow found this shot out of nowhere from my backlog archives. A shot of a young boy in a state of confusion and seems to be unaware of what is going on around him.
Somehow I imagine the Red-winged Starling has a secret to share with the Bush Buck, which is why the Bush Buck has turned its head so the bird can speak directly into its ear.
The Red-winged Starling does have a secret, it's under it wings, you only see it when it flies. I tried very hard to get shots of this bird in flight and failed dismally.
I somehow erased this from earlier.

Somehow during this session my shutter speed got knocked down to 1/400. Which for handholding a 500mm with 1.4 converter on is a major no no. However in the group of blurry shots, I did catch this one, which I really like. Due to the slow shutter speed it gave me a nice lack of noise.
Somehow I didn’t get carbombed for this angle. Wack.
CN 5699 (and a sister + GE out of frame) shoves back lite on the WSOR in Slinger, WI, to hitch up to a grain train bound for southern Illinois and beyond.
Somehow, life does not keep itself stopped. With or without happiness, time and tide wait for none :)

Somehow I realized that my skin could be a sensitized surface. Since [my sister] Louise was the photographic subject of the house, I put a negative of a picture of her on my upper arm, and taped it there with surgical tape. I was eight or nine, and we were still living in Cedarhurst, so I went out into the sun, in the backyard, with the negative taped to my shoulder. I actually kept it there for two or three days. Then I peeled it off, and there was Louise, burned into my skin. That was my first portrait :-)

Somehow it will not work out for me regarding frozen bubbles. But I have to admit not to have tried it enough during good conditions. Most of the time it was to much wind. This one is half frozen, at least.
Irgendwie will das bei mir mit den gefrorenen Seifenblasen nicht so recht klappen, wobei ich zugeben muss, es noch zu selten bei günstigen Bedingungen ausprobiert zu haben. Meist war es zu windig. Diese hier ist wenigstens halb gefroren.
Somehow this bed reminds me of my first Road trip in USA. I had landed in NY, took the bus to Washington DC, flew down to Orlando...
And then drove all the way to San Francisco.
This hotel room reminds me of that Road trip in USA in 2015.

Somehow Badger shots do not s receive a lot of appreciation on Flickr but these large mammals have interesting features that may be shown here. Look in the eye of this Badger in close-up.

Somehow the Christmas market has not been cancelled after all. Ways less visitors than usual - on a normal year it's so packed you could drop dead and not actually hit the ground before closing time - lots of security people to make sure the corona measures are respected, and people don't show up in large groups. There are little enclosures around the hot wine stands, and you are not supposed to leave them with your drink.

Somehow my school holiday has evolved into a 24/7 slog on DIY jobs, but last Friday I gave myself a day off to go to Middle Black Clough in the north of the Peak District. Having researched directions to get to the waterfall, I figured that they were all a little bit sketchy, so I decided to navigate my way using the Earth's magnetic fields and the position of the sun. In other words, I ended up using my instinct to get to the location, which involved taking a wrong path and wading up the stream over slippery rocks. This made me realise my lack of fitness at present and the fact that I am now 46 years old - not 26 like I keep trying to convince myself. As soon as I arrived at the location I saw this composition.

Somehow, I keep coming back to this window. The toiletries box is lit magically from within. The picture hardly captures it.
Somehow a taxi tour of Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic was not on the Island Excursion list and I'm sure my family had second thoughts about my choice. As for me, it was one of the best excursions I went on. I've always been fascinated with repair shops and there were plenty in the town, especially motorcycle and tire repair.

Somehow, people rarely seem to look at the time a photo was taken (even though Flickr shows it rather prominently now). So I thought it might be best to post all the photos of my sheep before the shearing at once. Usually I post with a delay of up to 2 months.
Somehow I liked the yelowish and rough touch of the stones. This shot was taken en-route to the cape of good hope.
