All good pals and jolly good company. Though not exactly what I would call social distancing!
View in lightbox and then zoom in while on full screen of course!
And, they're good to eat - see below! LOL!
Take care and many thanks for calling,

Somehow I inherited old books from my family of origin. Such as this one, printed in 1900, entitled "The Complete Poems of Sir Thomas More; Collected by Himself with Explanatory Notes". The thin piece of tissue or vellum protects an old photo or lithograph of the man himself.
Do you remember when vintage or antique books were assembled with such care?
Less than 3 inches/ 7.6 cm across.
Somehow the summer flew by so quickly , it's a beautiful month when late summer turns into early fall, it feels like autumn for over a week and weather continue to change , hot in the afternoon and cold at night , but i enjoy the time like this , there's plenty of places to look forward during this wonderful season
I wish you all a great weekend my Flickr friends ....
Somehow they all love this spot, lucky for me!
Here are some facts about them:

Photography is my passion, and nature photography is my favorite.
I have been in Explore for more that a hundred times, and it is an awesome experience to have your photos showcased in such a special way.
I'm in many groups, and I only add my photos to them if they are not private.
I thank your for coming today, for leaving a comment, and make a favorite of yours this photo, (if that is the case) thanks again!
The best part of this forum is the contacts and friends that I have made over the years, that have the same passion for this art that is called photography!
Martha,
DSC_6378. Somehow that song came to mind while looking at the image. These Kgalagadi beauties were just observing the area and they never seem to think about tomorrow! Ain't they wonderful creatures?
IUCN red list: endangered species! Will there be a tomorrow for them?

An somehow classic, silhouetted view towards the staircase of one of the new office buildings at Munich Werksviertel at closing time. I was a little lucky with the person passing by as the lights in the staircase went off every few minutes :)
I like the capture due to its clear lines and simplicity. I hope you like it, too :)

That's a rather new jeans - and there's always some struggling with the buttons the first few times ; ))
taken for Macro Mondays - theme of May 24, 2021: Button
(diameter of the button: 1.7 cm)
I know there will be plenty of jeans buttons today in the pool, but it's one of my favourite buttons - beside the shutter release of my camera and the power button of my coffee machine, of course ; ))
Happy Macro Monday, everyone
(I am on the road today - so on and off for the next few hours - I will catch up properly tonight)

Swallow my pride I'm trying

How do we reach this demons
I'm gonna leave us

“Somehow, we'll find it. The balance between whom we wish to be and whom we need to be. But for now, we simply have to be satisfied with who we are.”
Taken in a place that used to be a home...
I somehow managed to frequently pass close to this spot for maybe 20+ years before realising there was a good photograph to be had. Strangely enough, exactly the same thing happened with another image I posted on Flickr just this morning. I guess, sometimes one doesn't need to search far afield - just stop close by and look carefully!
Somehow I managed to delete this image, while cleaning my inventory.
I am re-posting it, I was lucky to have saved a copy of it.It was originally posted on june 4th.

You must have been bored
can't stand the present or the future light truth of the world.
Must be hard for you to believe
things in front of you now.
It looks half good
you look that much sad.
While you're conflicted
you're still standing at the crowd.
You grew up to be someone
who blames yourself without doing anything wrong

Thanks anyway for your great friendship!
“Because somehow, the sun rises each day. Emerging from the horizon, brighter and more beautiful than the previous day. You'll rise from the horizon too, learning to trust again. Learning to love again. Learning to heal. You'll emerge so bright that the haters will be blinded. And darling, you'll be the sun then, bright and beautiful, but they won't be your sunflowers.”

Somehow, the seemingly endless chaos of Nature’s
hammock can intrigue and inspire. And bring Peace
to one’s spirit. As opposed to the chaos of politics,
the forces of change, violence in the streets and
attempts to rob freedom and peace from our spirit.
“When will it end, when will it end ?”ask the
Yardbirds.
Hopefully political chaos will bring peace and
Holy Light will shine through again.
“Over under sideways down

Backwards forwards square and round
(Hey)
Over under sideways down
(Hey)
Backwards forwards square and round
When will it end (when will it end)
When will it end (when will it end)
Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!”

At the weekend we unexpectedly found ourselves at Lee on Solent in front of the camera, a change from the usual when we meet a stranger: me behind the camera and Ray patiently waiting at a discreet distance. Our story involves a group of people with a lady photographer taking turns to have a photoshoot whilst one of their party looked after a little dog, not allowed on the beach
The lady photographer approached us, sitting on the next seat, with a request to look after her little dog to which we readily agreed with a cheeky request from me that we might have our photo taken. Believe it or not, I had left my camera at home.
Thus we have received a gallery of photos together with happy anniversary wishes, and have chosen this one for our celebration. Thank you to Bella, the little dog, and of course especially to Myriame, the lovely lady, who we discovered is a professional photographer.

Looking west along Stanage Edge. Somehow I've manged to capture the view without anyone else in shot on what was a very popular walk on this particular morning
Somehow this scene reminded me of George Orwell's 1984. There's something somewhat totalitarian about it I guess. Maybe it's just me though.
Thankfully we don't have Thought Police yet, but we do have Thought-Behavior Directors. We mostly know it by the name TV nowadays! It always tries to "tell" us and "guide" us to what we should like and what not, in essence, what we should think and how we should feel, how we should act and react in (their idea of) a "proper" manner for anything and everything, although it will not admit of doing so. It gives us its directive of what we should consider the norm and what not. Yet it takes advantage of being in our homes, bringing thousands of strangers inside each day, whatever that means to each one of us. Of course there are someoneS behind it, controlling that as well...
Ohhh well, I'll keep on being rebellious and guilty of being thought criminal by self-questioning me, trying to think and feel for myself as much as I can and daring to fall in love with life and people that love me, each and every day...
Somehow going into Rosendale, Wisconsin was about stopping and remembering what seemed like a memory lane.
Somehow I thought of "Audrey II" from "Little Shop of Horrors" when I saw this striking fringed yellow Tulip. Hope you enjoy seeing it as much as I enjoyed shooting it!
Captured this one again at different angle and focal distance...somehow lucky with some editing ...Good remaing week..almost have done...Thanks, Udo.

Somehow I don't think the surface of Mars looks quite like this? Booley Bay near Duncannon today. Fun playing with the Painteresque app on my iPhone HSS & HMMM!
Somehow I overlooked my images of Bridalveil Fall from our February trip to Yosemite Valley. Taken in the late afternoon, I like the light on the top of the 650 foot high waterfall and the ice on the cliffs.
Hope you have a great start to the new week. Thank you all for your visits, comments, awards and faves -- I appreciate them all.
