I am learning about soft focus, instead of using lens, I used a software, at the meanwhile I'm using Picasa it is a freeware. Easy to learn and nice to use, there are a lot of simple tutorial on how to do soft focus using photoshop ...like cs4 and so on..
google it / yahoo it for soft focus!

If you’d like to view my images larger… While I only allow my contacts to view my larger images (I generally upload at least 800px images on the long axis)…
a quick workaround I might suggest is to view my photostream as a slideshow. Works well for me. This is frequently how I view others’ ‘streams, and it will put a large image on black. just click the projector screen icon next to the stream or set. : )

Sony Cybershot DSC-80, ISO100, 1/8 @ f3.2 + In Camera Soft Focus
Just playing with the soft focus tool of the W80... I found a fun frame of the horn icon in my steering wheel combined with the accent of the light.
This is from a photography group project to create an image that could have been taken 100 years ago with an early lens and no auto exposure. We used pictures from our own archives and employed effects from Nik Effect and some blurring to reduce sharpness of focus. Original picture taken in 2013 on a small compact.
This is a handspun wool color shift yarn (gradually changes from one color to the next). I carded many mixes of the colors and spun them in order.
Mae went through photos on iPhoto today - she liked this one, she determined that is was taken accidentally. We had computer issues this weekend, and this fuzzy photo conveys the way the whole experience made me feel - a little lost and out of focus.
I finally finished editing the photos from the wedding W. and I shot a few weeks ago. Here are some of the more artful edits.
