Are you your thoughts?

Or the thinker of the thought?

Or that to which thoughts appear?

Is there a difference, and who or what is *I* in this equation....?

Reflections.

And what is reflecting and where are you in that equation....?

These are not questions people normally ask, but they should be. Sometimes the things that seem the most obvious are the things that need the deepest scrutiny .

The area of the garden which is left to its own devices is currently awash with daisies and lots of little blue flowers, one of which you see in the photo.

Soft focus

The soft-focus effect was caused by the moisture of the briny sea wind on the lens of my camera.

Photo taken during my morning beach walk.

I use my filters rarely, but sometimes experimenting is fun. I got this effect with the gentle misty rain and a soft filter. A rare rainy August day in the Willamette Valley. The hay has been cut and baled and a lot of the land looks like this at present.

wish you all a sunny summer weekend

Yes it's bluebell season and as I've still not managed to get to the woods, this one was captured in our garden a short while ago

I wasn't quite sure what the difference between the two species was, so I did a little research. It appears we have the invaders.

The native ones have a much longer, thin tube-like shape and as you can see, this is the invader. Still pretty in shape and colour but strangely proved to be rather difficult to get an image I was fairly happy with

A fairly soft focus again, gave me that dreamy feel I like with flower images
