A foggy morning near Oakland Oregon. Parked my truck and took a walk out past the rest area.

Es ist nicht wirklich Gold, aber es hat den Anschein.

Faithful as gold.

Barley is said to be the first cereal cultivated by humans. No wonder, the top view of barley appears in so many ornamental patterns...

"True it’s a dream mixed with nostalgia

But it’s a dream that I’ll always hang on to

That I’ll always run to

Won’t you join me by the riverbank"

“Minds are like flowers; they open only when the time is right.” – Stephen Richards

Nog geen krokusjes boven de grond, maar twee jaar geleden heb ik toch echt deze foto al kunnen maken op 2 februari.

I can't find any crocus this year at this time, but two year ago, the garden was full with it.

Thanks for taking time to fave, comment and look at my work. I really appreciate.

A through the viewfinder (TTV) shot (series). Used my 4 x 5 camera, which is gathering dust. I purposefully did not focus on the dandelions with the 4 x 5. Information on TTV can be found on the internet or ask me questions. The darker sides of the photo is from the shadow of the viewfinder's hood being cast on the viewfinder.

Easy photo for today when I saw this prett cosmos flower

Cada año espero su llegada...

First damselfly of the season; I had a hard time focusing since it was very little (that is a blade of grass so you can imagine) and very nervous!

Another of my recurring theme of 'not being very good at growing my favourite flowers so photographing someone else's instead'! I have several Honeysuckles at home but they only ever produce a few flowers, not like this beauty at (once again), Helmingham Hall in Suffolk. Such a beautiful summery flower with a sweet honey scent.

Another go at these pretty flowers...

Having fun with the Lensbaby Omni System and stretch wand.

My ancient rescued Pomeranian who became mostly blind and deaf.

My constant companion. . .she was always happy to mimic my simple dance steps. It was a miracle watching her heal and grow from her horrible past as a mama in a puppy mill.

Here is a poem by Rudyard Kipling:

Four Feet

I have done mostly what most men do,

And pushed it out of my mind;

But I cant forget, if I wanted to,

Four-Feet trotting behind.

Day after day, the whole day through

Wherever my road inclined

Four-Feet said,I am coming with you!

And trotted along behind.

Now I must go by some other round,

Which I shall never find

Somewhere that does not carry the sound

Of Four-Feet trotting behind.">

This cute creature was specially crochet for our grand-child's first birthday in March, it will be travelling to Sao Paolo soon to arrive in good time.
