I was not sure if I should post this, since it is a trial of doing something totally opposite of what I normally do, which is trying to get the sharpest image I can.
I have always admired my Flickr friends who do beautiful soft images of flowers, which I have never been able to do.
So I thought I'd try.
These are by no means what I consider good, but they are my first ones I think that are maybe okay.

Have a wonderful Valentines day !
Sorry for my absence the last few days...I had to say goodbye to my dog Buddy on Monday, and it has been very hard.
Have a great day/night everyone. I am getting a new ac unit installed at my house today, so not sure how much I will be online.

Spring daisy taken with a vintage lens (Olympus OM 50/1.4) mounted on an Olympus EM 10 Mark II. Manual settings, handheld. Hope, you enjoy!
The meaning of tulips is generally perfect love
Tulips are by far my most favourite flower.
I am fascinated by their beauty from the moment they start to bloom and open, to way beyond their prime.
As these flowers mature, the colours intensify and they start taking on delightful new formations...
Romancing my viewers with a softer focus.
Thanks for peeking

Edit: Week 7 Theme :: Focus Pocus
ODC :: Out of Focus :: 11.02.2013
Maddy and her Christmas Bunny, her gift for Christmas a few years ago. She still has a place at the end of her bed.
When I saw the ODC challenge I was instantly reminded of a Flickr friend who has not been to Flickr for over a year, her name is Michelle and her soft focus photography is definitely a work of art, if you have some time pop over and check out her work.
Edit: Didn't realise the Week 7 theme is also soft focus related, so guess one image fits two challenges.
Photos taken and uploaded for the group "Smile on Saturday". The photo was taken in the rose garden of Anglesey Abbey in Lode, Cambridgeshire.
So much going on in the world and our busy lives. Sometime each day I try to relax and think about what's right in my life, and in the world. Took this picture in North Bend, Washington while doing just that.
Home this weekend, and pretty excited about that. Lots to be thankful for.
