Whew what a busy Thanksgiving week! Didn't work on projects because my husband took the week off, played games instead!
I did manage to make this though! It's a Smart Doll dress form! It's made from plastic wrap, tape, stuffing, scraps of cardboard, and nylon stocking, just stuff I had laying around. Not perfect, but it will be extremely useful! I'm going to make one of these before I make patterns for whatever size doll decide to work on, I won't have to worry about pin-marking my dolls!
I see lots of Cardinals, Dees, Nuthatches and Downies, but of course I also see lots of House Sparrows (who are an invasive, not Native species-unless you live in Europe in which case they are not) in fact a family nests right outside my home office-we think Bailey hung with the sparrows when he was in the wild because as soon as they wake up and start calling so does he!
I had a hard time deciding what to post for this week and then realized I have very few passer domesticus photos up-so they won!
As usual, just about everything tat can open on the real car can open on my model as well. However, there isn't much: two doors and a hatchback.
As it turns out, I messed up a bit when building this. The lower part of the hatch is supposed to fold down.
To be honest, I think these cars really aren't that smart at all. When I found out that they really are nothing more than the Swatch of cars, my point was solidified. Nonetheless, I still think they're worth making a great Lego model out of.
Front suspension - MacPherson, rear - semi-independent type deDion. In addition to the suspension, of course, the front steering (with castor), the rear drive on the traditional 3-cylinder engine, located behind the rear axle. The model opens the side doors and the rear door.
In the cabin, a soft steering wheel, an internal rearview mirror, a watch in the depth of the torpedo. The passenger seat folds to form an armrest.
Diamond's YJ07 PAO (30412) is seen departing West Bromwich Bus Station with a 4H towards Hayley Green. It wears the smart new branding for the 4/4H (Walsall-West Brom 4/4H - Halesowen 4H - Hayley Green). This branding is in the same style as used on the 25 Branded Urban 2 at Kidderminster. YJ07PAO was new in April 2007 to Transdev Blazefield's Lancashire United operation (before being rebranded in 2016 to the Blackburn Bus Company), as their 1820. While with Transdev, it wore branding for the Spot On services. It is a Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse Urban.
The Smart Roadster was introduced in 2003. It is powered by a 82 PS turbocharged 698cc 3-cylinder engine in the rear. In late 2005 production was stopped after some 43,000 were built as DaimlerChrysler focused the Smart brand on the Fortwo model only.
Another low miler from MrBenn, only 17,860 on the clock in May '25. Long Cartell spec readout on this: Smart For Two Passion SP-G Edn A Spring Edition.
A smart Plaxton Paramount 3200 Mk III bodied Bedford YNV at Belle Vue. One of trio bought new by Maynes of Buckie in 1987 but sold the following year. It spent 8 years with Burtons of Haverhill and then 7 years with PC Coaches and was sold here at auction for export.
