The Smart Roadster was introduced in 2003. It is powered by a 82 PS turbocharged 698cc 3-cylinder engine in the rear. In late 2005 production was stopped after some 43,000 were built.
And here is the new package design for the wigs.

Normally after I finish building something, I leave it sitting on my desk for a bit, where I I look at it occasionally and sometimes give it a few more tweaks. Yesterday, however, I got a bit impatient and posted my Smart car right after finishing it. I almost immediately regretted this, because in the pictures I noticed a few things I didn't like. There was a gap between the windscreen and the roof and a gap in the A-pillars and when googling for the Smart, to check whether the descriptions I was writing were accurate, I noticed a picture that showed the bottom half of the rear hatch folding down. It didn't on mine. Bummer! So, here we are, after the final tweaks.

Stagecoach Midlands' LX51 FMP (17494) is seen parked next to the Stratford Information Centre in the Tourbus turn around point. It wears branding for the Stratford-upon-Avon sightseeing tour. In the sun, it looks very smart. LX51FMP was new in September 2001 to Stagecoach East London, as their TAS494. When the operation was sold in August 2006, it came under Macquarie Bank ownership. In October 2010, it was reacquired by Stagecoach. TAS 494 has been used for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, where it was used as a Shuttle Bus. It was also used on a branded rail replacement service for Stagecoach Merseyside on Merseyrail services. It was then converted to open top for use as a tour bus at the Stratford-upon-Avon garage.

Hey everyone, I apologize for being absent for the past 6 weeks. I've been dealing with some things and haven't been able to do any hobby stuff or pay attention to social media. I also am truly sorry for missing Puddle, an emergency came up the day before and I couldn't make it. I am so thankful to my dear friends at Puddle for offering to sell my items for me, thank you so much for helping! 💚
I probably won't post much in the next month, but I do want to try and see what I can do. Hopefully after August I can get back into my normal schedule.
Anyway, I thought it would be a good opportunity to break my haitus today because of a happy arrival. Welcome to my newest doll: Smart Doll Felicity! I love her so much, she is the perfect doll for me. I've been waiting for her to arrive every since her first reveal. 😄
Looking ahead, I want to get back to sewing again, and other projects too. I want to focus mostly on making Smart Doll clothes for the rest of the year, I really enjoy the size and weight of the doll. I also want to make lots of Wonder Frog clothes for my dolls, and complete some Momoko/Kikipop projects.
I don't think I'm going to be able to sew for resin dolls for the time being. The reason is unfortunate. All my resin has actually been put away in the basement since January... I think I'm going have to sell off a bunch. 😢 I'll make a post on this another time. At least I'll be able to offer Smart Doll size which will fit many SD dolls.

Rhys Smart Mouth by Melissa Ritchie. Oil on linen.
Rhys Nicholson is a comedian, known for his dapper style and his vibrant red hair. His material often refers to growing up as a gay man in Newcastle and marriage inequality in the Australian legal system.
'Not only do we have the obvious parallel between Rhys's image and the Redhead brand of matches, but the box design also becomes a metaphor for Rhys's career as a comedian. The matches represent words, while the fire is the hurtful bullying that Rhys and many LGBT youth have been subjected to at some point in their lives. Rhys stands proud over a pile of burnt matches, ready to strike another. He is the smart mouth', says Melissa Ritchie.
Born in Georgia, USA in 1978, Ritchie moved to Australia as a child and grew up in Wollongong. This is her 1st time as an Archibald finalist.

I've had the intention to build one of these for a while now, but things became a lot easier when LEGO introduced their new Speed Champions sets, with wheels that look just about perfect for this dinky car on my normal 1/22 scale.
Cowboy doesn’t seem to mind wearing my readers while he is off in Neverland pointing birds and (porcupines!).
I am happy to introduce my new girl, Smart Doll Ebony! I think I'll name her Mushroom. She was a birthday gift from my husband, I was so shocked at such a gift, I am very thankful.
She is so much cuter in person. I love her skin color, it's perfect, and mushroomy! I l also love that she came with green eyes, and they look better than my DD's acrylic defaults. I'm really surprised with how high quality this doll is, there are a lot of little things that I think make this doll stand out from others.
The biggest and most groundbreaking thing I love about this doll: the support socket stand!!! I can't believe no one else has done this with their dolls yet, it makes everything about owning this doll easier. I can just set her anywhere and not worry about her falling over, she is very easy to keep in poses, and the stand is barely noticeable. I wish all my larger dolls had a support stand like this. It will even hide easily under dresses, and I imagine it will make drafting patterns easier.
Her jeans, wig, eyes, shoes, boots, and bag that she came with are very high quality and worth the price. The boots especially. I think her boots are the highest quality doll shoe I've ever come across, they have supports in the back of the heel and toe area just like a real shoe, and they are lined with a cream very thin suede. The soles of the shoes are a nice rubber so they really grip the floor when posing your doll around, it's a nice feature.
I highly recommend this doll do anyone who has interest, she really impressed me.
