Lucky shot! I was just handling the lens, thinking of next month's Single challenge, and this hummy bird showed up! The IQ is terrible, since I was shooting at 135mm, at 1/80 (edit: oops, I had switched it to 1/125 at that point!), no SR, through glass and screen... I didn't delete 'em, though. ;-)

This 12.5" square mini is a happy accident that occurred while demonstrating how to construct a floating four patch block from charm squares. It is machine pieced and quilted.

This was a total accident, hence the name "Serendipity." I was just messing around with those little light boxes that change color on which you put crystals to reflect the light, and this is the result of reflecting the light off the side of my dresser. It looks a lot better than I thought it would.
DID YOU KNOW: The word serendipity has been voted as one of the ten English words that were hardest to translate in June 2004 by a British translation company. However, due to its sociological use, the word has been exported into many other languages. In the simplest of words, it means a “happy accident” or a “pleasant surprise”.
This exciting ranch home is filled with details and lives much larger than its exterior portrays.
