This exciting ranch home is filled with details and lives much larger than its exterior portrays. For fans of entertaining, this home has a spacious, open layout that allows everyone to be included in the party. The family room and breakfast room both overlook the kitchen, so mealtime is always comfortable. The adjacent great room accesses the rear porch, as does the family room, and features a coffered ceiling and fireplace for additional luxury. Tray ceilings also crown the dining room, study/bedroom and master bedroom. French doors grace the entry into the study/bedroom and the nearby bathroom makes it an ideal guest suite. The master suite is an elegant retreat. Two generous walk-in closets provide space for large wardrobes and the master bath is the ideal place to relax. *Photographed home may have been modified from the original construction documents.* www.dongardner.com/house-plan/1155/the-serendipity

Failed at installing an invisible zipper with the welting. Used Autum's tutorial from Sew Mama Sew for a hidden zipper with a flap. There is a zipper under that fabric across the back. Here is link sewmamasew.com/blog2/2011/02/add-a-zipper-to-your-pillow/. Worked very well.
I was bored and had nothing to do all day.. soo I re-watched movies.. great movie =)

Mods - used misocrafty’s short row heel tutorial, I didn’t like leaving the wraps behind as per the pattern.
I thought this was a bit of a ho-hum pattern when I first received it, but became entranced when I managed to get the stripes coming out just like the pattern photos!! Pleases me no end ;-)
When I took the photo, I didn't notice that the dog was staring at me.
Now I find a strange resemblance with the figure in the fountain
I was in Beach Knitting (Manhattan Beach) over the weekend, and saw an old customer! Sweet. I love it when this happens!

Developed around the classic trout waters of Yellowstone, the Black Serendipity Fly has become a favorite especially of pocket water fishermen on the famous Madison River. The array of colors and sizes allows this fly to be used for caddis and midges or simply as a searching pattern. Trout in all types of water, even in large stillwater environments, seem to love the segmented buggy look of the Serendipity.
