I would like to wish all my friends a big greeting for 2020 and Thank you for your support in this past year... been a fun year with our camera's... don't you think?... so get those cameras out and lets see what we can do ... it can only be up from this point..don't you think!! lets get together more and share our time and experiences

A couple of Otters from BWC

This was all you, none of it me. You put your hands all over my body and told me...You told me you were ready for the big jump. "I'd be your last love everlasting you and me", that was what you told me. I was too strong, you couldn't handle the hot heat rising. Baby, I'm so rising, you were falling down. I'm giving you up, I've forgiven it all. You set me free. Send my love to your new lover, treat her better. We gotta let go of all of our ghosts. We both know we ain't kids no more...

Out to Pasture

The forest service sends their mules and horse out to pasture after a hard day carrying supplies to wilderness volunteers doing badly needed maintenance on the remote trails of the Eagle Cap Wilderness Area. For people living in Western Washington and Oregon, the Eagle Cap Wilderness is not only the most remote wilderness, but at 361,446 acres it is also one of the largest. I thoroughly enjoyed my week long adventure with the Sierra Club backpacking and scrambling through the many passes, peaks, meadows and lakes of this vast wilderness and am already planning my next adventure.

This one is for my friend Nacnud He really is pretty well snowed under. But loving every minute of it, judging by his photographs.

Still sending you some warmth and sunshine Duncan. Enjoy.

Oh and anyone else that needs a bit of cheering & warming up....I will take you on a walk with me (camera in hand of course).

We were on the second floor terrace of Caddy's On The Beach, and the gulls were very active. Although I was initially annoyed at them getting into frame, I realized they really were part of the scene.

...for his check up with the Vet. He makes stressed people in waiting room smile and children love this little clown

Just sending you a smile for the weekend - be safe and well

Send my love down in those rays of light

Through your window on your tired eyes

Say good morning, say it to the sun

Like you're talking, talking to someone

Here I stand, staring at the sun

Distant land, staring at the sun

You're not there, but we share the same one

Miles apart, staring at the sun

Distant town, staring at the sun

One thing's true just like you

There's only one

And I don't care if it burns my eyes

And I don't care 'cause my love is blind

From staring at the sun, oh oh

From staring at the sun

Point Vicente

Rancho Palos Verdes, CA

12-25-25

The first image I shot after sending the drone up over the fence on the Point Vicente Light grounds. I only had the drone up in the air for about 10 or 15 minutes and was sending it out over the ocean for a flyaround video when I got a warning that the winds were too forceful and to send the drone back home. At least I got some snaps of the sunset, including the swirling storm clouds.

This country hates me. My first BCC skin cancer removal. Ouch.

The doc was pretty rad, he says 'free botox! look how I tighten the skin!' xD

This is a private swap with iamsored. She took a photo of her stuff that she's sending to me, all wrapped up, so here's a photo of her goodies I took, all wrapped up as well!!

This is so exciting! Hope you'll love everything! (No Pepero or Kinoko no Yama but I replaced them with something special! =D)

Sending it under Lift 7 at Taos Ski Valley.

I found a mix of great egrets and snowy egrets at one of our nature areas in Ft. Collins, Colorado.

I saw the sunset this evening while you were not with me.

I want to show you the sky.

So I used my camera phone and took a shot.

Hoping you will get what I feel about when I see the sky.

If I could write a letter to me

And send it back in time to myself at 17

First I'd prove it's me by saying

"Look under your bed

There's a Skoal can and a Playboy

No one else would know you hid"

And then I'd say I know it's tough

When you break up after seven months

And, yeah, I know you really liked her

And it just don't seem fair

But all I can say is pain like that is fast and it's rare

And, oh, you got so much going for you, going right

But I know at 17 it's hard to see past Friday night

She wasn't right for you and still you feel like there's a knife

Sticking out of your back and you're wondering if you'll survive it

. . . I gave up on trying to see the Northern Lights in Muskegon tonight, but not before sending a message to the aliens up there! They responded with a quick meteor (on the right).

LC :- ELECTRIC TRIP SHED

Eventually.

Dispatcher Twelve put on a master class at Daggett on how to get trains onto the Santa Fe in a timely manner. Facetiously of course although this move did eliminate any route for eastbound trains and it did keep a Trona, California to West Elk, Colorado empty coal train on the BNSF's Mojave Subdivision for longer than I'm sure they would have wanted it to be there for.

With track and time in effect on the BNSF side (working on the pads on the grade crossing with A Street) Union Pacific stacked up four trains between Daggett and Yermo and with no other eastbounds other than the previous one mention left on both the Cajon Subdivision and Mojave, this did seem to be quiet the move. As Union Pacific's Manifest from Ogden, Utah to West Colton, California (left) rumbles up on the number one with a six pack of various General Electric locomotives on the head end, alongside them on the number two is the ISCLB (Intermodal Salt Lake City, Utah to Long Beach ICTF, California) as they wait for the go ahead from the BNSF to proceed westward. Once the track and time is released the Ogden Manifest will head out first with all twelve thousand feet of mixed manifest for the LA Basin, after which the Salt Lake will have it's moment in the sun with it's crappy SD70M leader then the other two trains will come through, after the BNSF slams a half dozen or so Intermodal trains through.
