La Senda de las Pesquerías, es un camino mandado construir por Carlos III en plena Sierra de Guadarrama para dar rienda suelta a su pasión por la pesca.
Para poder subir cómodamente con su caña desde La Granja de San Ildefonso hasta la cabecera del río Eresma, el monarca mandó construir este camino a lo largo de su orilla izquierda, bajo la sombra de los robledales y los pinares de Valsaín.
Una obra por aquel entonces asombrosa, que enriqueció con puentes, represas, saltos y todo cuanto daba de sí la ingeniería hidráulica del siglo XVIII. Cientos de canteros se emplearon a fondo, entre 1767 y 1769, para lograr solar unos nueve kilómetros que partían del embalse del Pontón Alto –antes Puente de Segovia– y llegaban al nacimiento fluvial, allí donde confluyen los arroyos de Minguete y del Telégrafo. Nacía así, para disfrute del rey, la Senda de las Pesquerías Reales enmarcada en un impresionante escenario natural.

Such awesome beauty and Costa Rica has beauty at every turn . We will be heading back with Nature's Tapestry Photo Adventure Tours next November 2018 and April 2019 . It was captured during Pavarana Purnima festival. Pavarana is a Buddhist holy day celebrated on the full moon of the eleventh lunar month. It marks the end of the month of Vassa, sometimes called "Buddhist Lent." This day marks the end of the rainy season in some Asian countries like Thailand, where Theravada Buddhism is practiced. On this day, each monk (Pali: bhikkhu) must come before the community of monks (Sangha) and atone for an offense he may have committed during the Vassa.
In Bangladesh Buddhist devotees fly Fanush (Hot Air Balloon) to honor Lord Buddha and all the departed soul during the eve of Pavarana Purnima.

La Senda del Oso es una vía verde en el centro de Asturias, que recorre los Valles del Oso, formados por los concejos de Proaza, Quirós, Teverga y Santo Adriano, que se puede recorres tanto a pie como en bicicleta. Se trata de una antigua vía ferroviaria por donde circulaba hasta el año 1964 un ferrocarril minero que transportaba el carbón desde las localidades de Santa Marina y Entrego, hasta Trubia, en el concejo de Oviedo.
Esta senda transita, en gran parte, por un espectacular bosque atlántico, convirtiéndose en una ruta sencilla, apta para todos los públicos, con un poco de desnivel, siendo un excelente plan para realizar en familia, en solitario o con amigos.
La Senda del Oso tiene aproximadamente unos 30 km de longitud, comienza en Tuñón, en el concejo de Santo Adriano, recorre todo el concejo de Proaza y finaliza en entrego (Teverga) y Santa Marina (Quirós), pudiendo disfrutar a lo largo del recorrido, de varios túneles horadados en la roca, del cercado osero, desfiladeros, etc.
Se debe de efectuar en varias etapas, para disfrutar totalmente de la senda, estas son:
TUÑÓN–PROAZA = 6 KM – PROAZA–CARANGA = 5 KM – CARANGA–ENTREGO = 10 KM Y CARANGA- SANTA MARINA = 13 KM
