This work is done for continuing with my Positive Flags of the Nations with especially celebrating and sharing love.
Also for Finding the Beauty in the World Today Despite the Hardships Given Us by the Coronavirus.
Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️
We have more than enough to share - tomorrow is supposed to be 104 F. and I'd love to even things out with those who are having rainy cold.
Please forgive me for spotty commenting as I'm trying to catch up on things I put off for 3 happy weeks.

Sending tons of love to everyone … I’ve been spending lots of quiet time in real life and SL, just losing myself in the creative process of crafting things that bring peace, trying to heal and strengthen my faith. I hope everyone is having a beautiful week, and that you are all blessed with joy filled moments, and pretty things in your camera lens. 💕
Sending warm wishes to all my beautiful Flickr friends.
Merry Christmas to you and your families.
Wishing you all a safe and joyous season.
If Christmas is not your celebration, I wish you and yours, the kindest wishes for the celebration you hold close to your heart.
Happy Holidays to all.
Thanks for the love
Kind regards,
Christie
Something's in the-
Something's in the air right now
Like I'm losing track of time
Like I don't really care right now, but maybe that's fine
You weren't even there that day
I was waitin' on you
I wondered if you aware that day was the last straw for me and I know
I sent you flowers
Did you even care?
You ran the shower and left them by the stairs
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh, ooh
Ay-ay-ay-ay, ay, ay
Thought you had your shit together, but damn, I was wrong
You ain't nothin' but a lost cause

Tonglen, the Tibetan practice of “sending and receiving,” is one of the most powerful—and radical—ways of cultivating compassion.
When practicing tonglen, we consciously choose to take in the suffering of others. The practitioner breathes in pain and suffering, and sends out compassion and goodness on the exhale.
“It’s a simple and natural exchange: you see suffering, you take it in with the inbreath, you send out relief with the outbreath ....”

The Sherpa sends me a photo from the 43rd floor of his office building in the city every morning, Usually around sunrise.
This morning he sent me the photo on the right. Our city blanketed in smoke, like a thick soup, at hazardous levels. The first time I think it has reached hazardous levels.
No-one really knows the damage from long-term smoke inhalation yet. We know it's not good.
It brings home the reality to us of those that have been living through this for months and I know some countries this is the norm.
Welcome to our brand new world.
PAT: "This piece of ice looks like a boat!"
OTIS: "Let`s drive with it! Odessa would you like to be our
captain?!"
ODESSA: " Yes! ......our last winter tour this year!"
So, the least likely thing I expected for this project has, in fact, happened. I finished. It took 15 months - two dead cameras, one stolen, and various life events conspired to draw this out. Whatever.
I learned a little about photography, and I learned a lot about paying attention. This last was my primary goal, and I'm satisfied that I came away with a heightened awareness of the world around me. And in the course of it all, I managed to take a few self-portraits I don't actually hate :-)
But mostly, I've learned about you. I've met people from all over the world, seen their art, tasted their culture, and experienced their generosity and friendship. I can't possibly express how meaningful this year has been to me.
Thank you, all of you, for the comments, encouragement, suggestions and laughter. For caring.
I'll be spending my flickr time in the near future catching up with your streams. I have so much yet to see, and I want to see it all! :-)

"Words mean more at night
Like a song
And did you ever notice
The way light means more than it did all day long?
So i’ll send you my words
From the corners of my room
And though I write them by the light of day
Please read them by the light of the moon"

and the picture....
One of the few lights that still shines in Walpack Center, a town that nearly disappeared due to the defunct Tocks Island Dam Project. Walpack itself dates back to at least Oct. 26, 1731, and holds the distinction as the oldest municipality in the county, predating the state, and even the nation. The population is estimated to be 11. Walpack... a fascinating little place that time almost forgot... in a beautiful area of NJ that is so fun to get out and explore.
For WH Low, who came too early to Tokyo (in early November) to catch these colors in vain. I went there today (Dec. 2) to photograph and send it to him.
