copied using NEEWER Macro extension tubes 10=16mm

raised and lowered on the Manfroto tripod to focus and Kit lens SELP1650 on 50mm 6026 wide Wi-Fi to the HP.

Interesting! the kit lens with a couple of cheap extension tubes gave as good a result as an expensive EOS macro zoom lens did..

The zoom lens was easier to focus and arrange the image, whereas the kit lens on the tubes needed to be raised up and down on the tripod and seemed to only focus when on 50mm.

Also, the Zebra Peaking Level exposure lines failed to work using the tubes.. not in red, anyway!

The Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta is a regatta in the English county of Devon. The first recorded regatta was in 1822 and the regatta was formally established in 1834. It is based on the River Dart, in the town of Dartmouth, and the village of Kingswear opposite.

The regatta takes place over the Thursday, Friday and Saturday where the Friday is the last Friday in August.

You really can't go wrong with a square mono when you have water and reflected grey clouds.

I met the Gouldian Finch in Bloedel Conservatory of Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver, BC Canada. It was a cloudy day with dim lights, and I only had the kit lens with me. I decided to try taking photo of this colorful guy, only one is successful in 10 continuous shots.

Creating a sense of perspective of these giants takes some practice. For redwoods, Muir Woods is the big ticket destination, but their parking lot was overflowing when we went there. So this is where we ended up. And, a pleasant walk in the woods it was.
